He forced at least two women to give him oral sex, forcibly kissed a woman, and groped multiple. While I haven't read any graphic specifics (i.e. did he grab their heads, hair, necks, push them against a wall, etc), you can't possibly give this predator the benefit of the doubt.

I'm almost all caught up on the Orville. It certainly had found its foot and transitioned from lazy remake to homage/spiritual successor to Star Trek. A remarkable turnaround. "Home" really demonstrated McFarlane's talent.

Those idiots' due diligence was Watson + minor suspension and "apology" tour = playoffs if not Superbowl = 2-billion-dollar tax-funded stadium paid for by a brainwashed, appreciative, ultraforgiving fanbase. Wasn't there talk about putting the team into receivership (or god willing, city-owned, after all, we paid for the f'ing stadium) when Jimmy's rebate frauds came to light. How come that never went anywhere:(

And even if the contract is vitiated and maniac is blackballed, Browns still lose draft picks. Can we tar and feather Dee and Jimmy yet?
  5. I do love day games, wish we had more of them.

Nah, clearly he's being set up. Offensive line, find your moral compass.

False accusations should result in immediate castration and seizure of all assets. Call it a wash.

My god... the Orville has completely stolen material from Star Trek. This isn't homage or parody so much as copy-and-paste. And the show forgets to be a comedy sometimes. That said, it's far better than the nightmarish Picard and Discovery series, though I've heard the latter gets better. Still unsure about starting the Pike one. Also, Raised by Wolves was canceled. Damn.

Looks like our sexual predator's attorney might have a few screws loose. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/06/03/deshaun-watsons-lawyer-rusty-hardin-happy-ending-remark-was-used-hypothetically/ Deshaun Watson's lawyer, Rusty Hardin: "Happy ending" remark was used "hypothetically" https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/06/03/deshaun-watsons-lawyer-rusty-hardin-contends-sexual-activity-during-a-massage-is-not-a-crime/ Deshaun Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, contends sexual activity during a massage is not a crime
  10. Wish I could be there gents (and ladies, if any are attending). Damn, I won't be in town until the following week.

Been on a Futurecop, Timecop 1983, Gunship, and still the Midnight run lately.
  12. My neighbor and I have had argued about this topic for... god almighty YEARS at this point. Time flies. Point being he believes in bandaids i.e. commercial vacancy taxes/fees (that a Blackstone would ignore, write off, or not think about for more than 5 seconds, not with those portfolios), property tax exemptions (small business owners' concerns are primarily revenue, not property tax), rent abatements/forgiveness/sales consignments (he and I agree in concept). But then there's my thoughts: Complete dystopian seizure by local government if a property is vacant for, let's say 6 months. Expand eminent domain, grab that blighted property, rent it to the highest bidder, whatever that number may be, and fast track whatever license is needed. I don't even care if it's a fake church or special massage parlor; something needs to be there.
  13. Deaths were up 18 percent from 2019 to 2020 and .82% from 2020 to 2021.

Watched Severance in 3 days. Absolutely wonderful show. And I marathoned "From" in 3 days as well. Very enjoyable show, though with some odd acting choices. The little kid is remarkably bad even for a kid, and the actress who plays Sara.... yikes.
  15. Why do you say that?
  16. Perhaps it's part of their consolidation from last year's bankruptcy. Those stores are really cute and I like how they have parties. But it probably doesn't help that Barnes & Noble bought them...

Nothing wrong with supporting a team led by a sexual predator whose victims number in the dozens. I sure would hate for that guy to be stretchered out in game one. Pre-season.
  18. Now that I think about it, didn't the the Euclid and/or Colonial Arcades also have a similar structure with tenants? I haven't a clue if those malls are considered successful, but clearly things worked out for Eton.
  19. I recall Eton doing something similar after its redevelopment.
  20. You're right. My point was that it's good to have a variety of establishments, including those that have VIP sections that aren't accessible to the general public.
  21. Soho Houses and similar concepts are common throughout the country. It's nice seeing some variety in the Flats such as this.
  22. My apologies, some of the posters' names blend together sometimes. But I'm remembering the anti-Bibb comments now: Pugu definitely had some irrational comments on the mayor.
  23. I vaguely remember Pugu being a poster who would have conservative, occasionally extreme, perspectives on a number of issues pertaining to Trump and identity politics. I believe the above posters are comparing me to him/her, and finding my earlier post racist or ignorant.
  24. Senior Strategist for Equity. “These individuals bring strong leadership, diverse talent and community advocacy to the administration,” Mayor Bibb said in a statement about León and Joyce Pan Haung, who was named planning director. “Dedicated roles focused on inclusive opportunity and people-centered neighborhoods will help advance our mission of economic growth and development in our most underserved communities.” Guy doesn't show up to nonsense job with nonsense title. Christ Bibb, don't get sucked into that bullsh*t.
