You're right about social media; it does tend to bring about the worst in people. It's easier to destroy than to build, which social media and its left and right mobs routinely prove. MASH, you're next!

Damnit, Wandavision episode 6 went by QUICKLY. I'm going to be heartbroken when the show ends. Also, Red Letter Media recommended Kid Detective. It was excellent with some very shocking moments in the end. Quick warning to Wandavison fans. Be careful looking up stuff on Youtube. The episode 9 spoiler has been leaked... and it's ... it's ... it's something else.

I agree, there is a lot of excellent content on Prime. Unfortunately there are some odd technical issues with the uploads i.e. inconsistent sound and video quality, but that's an Amazon issue, not show quality. Prime also has my two favorite movies - the Burbs and Graveyard Tales. I could watch those over and over and over, and have. And god knows I've been babbling about the Expanse repeatedly in earlier posts. As to your Disney+ question, I would say Wandavision alone is worth the $7, or $14 since there are 4, possibly 5 more episodes (in which you'd buy a second month). It might be more fun watching the whole series in one sitting, so if you can avoid spoilers and are averse to pirated uploads, I say wait a few weeks, then spend the money. That said, the end of Episode 5 was so EPIC and significant to the entire Marvel universe, I'm wondering if you can truly avoid spoilers.

Episode 5 of Wandavision was wonderful. Uggg, I have to wait another damn week for episode 6?? Hawkeye and Falcon/Winter Soldier look so dull, uninspiring, unnecessary in comparison. Just a poor man's Jason Bourne.

Friday's new episode of Wandavision is TOO DAMN FAR AWAY. This show is dangerously addicting. 2/2 edit: Just finished Season 5 of the Expanse. Definitely an improvement over 4. WHEN IS 6??????????????
  6. Is it that much worse than the Justice Center moving to the whatever the hell the Opportunity Corridor is?
  7. So much for the buh buh buh insurance riot-enablers

Season 5 Episode 4 of the Expanse has multiple holy sh-t moments. Wow.
  9. Tomorrow - Apple, Boeing, Tesla, Facebook, Anthem, etc - is going to be a fun one.

So far season three of Cobra Kai is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING. Getting through episode four is a struggle. Thank god for the flashbacks. Who the hell remembers Karate Kid Does Japan anyone? Edit: It gets better by episode 5 and really good by 6. I guess I'll finish the show tonight after all.

Hah, I'm actually using subtitles too. Boy it's a lot easier to understand those Belter-Creole accents now.

I'm rewatching the Expanse to prep for season 5. It's much better the second time around, since there are a lot of names, locations, and difficult accents, which made the first watch a little confusing. Also, I'm almost done with Better Call Saul, which I'm enjoying far more than Breaking Bad, a show I never quite got. And before I forget, there is this show on Prime called Gym Shorts, and within 30 seconds, a minute TOPS, you know it is horrible. Unwatchable. Lame. Boring. Failed comedy comedy. Horrible sound and set design. It makes Neil Breen movies look like Shakespeare. There needs to be a word, a specific genre, for this kind of terrible, unprofessional s-hit -- but sometimes you just need to watch a show in disbelief.
  17. Jesus, what a start to the year.
  18. A variety of businesses is ideal for any neighborhood. Also, accessing groceries is probably an important factor for people, and it really is a pain if you don't have a car, have physical disabilities, live in a cold climate region, are living in a national plague where we want to limit exposure, etc. I'm pretty sure there isn't a downside with this place. Food delivery is becoming more and essential; I certainly rely on it a great deal.

Ralphthemoviemaker had a pretty good video about Bruce's direct to streaming/redbox/dumpster fire career. His Nicholas Cage retrospectives are funny too. vide

I'm really enjoying Wayne on Amazon Prime.
  21. Do you really believe that? In 50 or so years of varying city and metro decline and stagnation, I can't imagine for a second the branding of Cleveland vs NEO was remotely a factor. And I seriously doubt people who hear NEO associate it with Trump/meth country, thereby diluting the city and metro brand (if I understand your point). They probably have a vague geographical understanding of what NEO embodies or haven't a clue. Either way I doubt it's relevant to today's challenges.
  22. Easier than paying Lindor, I guess. What a joke.
  23. Reminds me of the Richfield Colosseum and it's absurdly inconvenient location for the Cavs, Crunch, Lumberhacks, WWF, circus, ice skating shows, etc. They really wanted the Akron market I guess, but even as a kid, I didn't get why it wasnt downtown like other city major stadiums. Great memories there, especially 95. I think they all were in the playoffs in addition to the Indians. Edit: whoops, Cavs were at the Gund then
  24. I'm still scratching my head over the "Lake Erie" Monsters. Like NEO, there was something oddly dismissive and passive aggressive about the name. At least they're the Cleveland Monsters now. That said, this article is alarmist nonsense. Absolute rubbish.
  25. It's like issues with teaching. You can put all the bandaids you want for theatrics, but the insurmountable problem is the character and conduct of students and correlated demographic changes. Everything else is just noise. Unless they rebuild the mall and turn it into some kind of lifestyle center/mall hybrid, I'm pretty pessimistic. We've seen this f'ing story over and over and over and over, and it almost always ends the same.
