  1. 27 days to go. Good god I'm psyched.
  2. Try this one: https://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php?wap2 It works beautifully though you need full version for photos.

What the f-k are you guys talking about?
  4. He has blundered repeatedly with this public square foolishness, and it's looking like a total waste of money at this point. But compared to criminals like Reed and Johnson, he is still far and away the most qualified and frankly the most moral candidate so far.
  5. I'm saying from a developer's viewpoint, freeway access may be a factor in where they risk investments. It's probably why more east siders hang out in Ohio City and Tremont than West Siders go to Coventry or Cedar Lee.

I'm sick of retailers, especially large scale ones, blaming Amazon and e-commerce for their bad quarters and store closings. Going to a Walmart or JC Penny's can be an unpleasant experience; it sure seems to get worse every year. Fix your image, hire employees who give a S**t, remember that good customer service is key for survival, maybe get some security, and innovate, modernise, innovate. Paying with Ipads is not innovation. Installing a nice coffee shop and having periodic events is. Wine tasting and yoga classes and singles mixers are what people want, and these department stores have a ton of real estate for those draws. Don't just blame online shopping, which I'm convinced is not nearly as damaging as they allege. With online commerce returning items is a pain; proper fittings are a complete shot in the dark; and there aren't any real savings. Kohl's and Sears are often comparable with Amazon.
  7. When I lived on Stillman five years ago, it was pretty apparent that cops were focusing on ticketing to achieve their monthly quotas. As for now, I go several times every few months and pay the meter to be safe.
  8. Might still be some stigmas from Coventry Street Fair riots, Brennan's murder, unbelievable taxes, and cops focusing on ticketing rather than providing security. A lack of lake and freeway access probably don't help either. Probably some ironic perception problems with crime and legitimate concerns with schools too. Developers only have so much money to risk. I'm sure the Severance failure is well remembered.
  9. Agreed. What a waste of energy and time. I disagree with opening the road, but it wasn't worth this nonsense. Months of controversies for 600 f'ing feet.
  10. Good God, already? I'm still recovering from November
  11. Good lord you have some skills
  12. I take Shark's word as far as I would Trump's
  13. I hate to be cynical with small business owners who take a gamble and actually put their money where their mouths are... but jesus that video was awkward.

I say Graham. We went to high school together, and I see him on and off in Ohio City (sorry guys, I just can't call that area Hingetown. It feels too forced). One of the nicest and most sincere guys I've ever met.

I'll take a mediocre but classy and ethical mayor over the felons and no-names who are running against him.

As opposed to the honorable taxi companies? The people they hire seem to take pride in being abusive and hostile to customers. I use Uber quite a bit and won't be caught dead in a taxi unless I can expense it. Whatever problems there are pale in comparison to the customer experience. Also, this whole boycott Uber nonsense is as retarded as Pizzagate. People looking for a false narrative to get riled up.

Sugar-free gum folks. Does wonders to restrict appetites. And you get hydrated.
  18. That is absolutely beautiful and innovative and futuristic. Just amazing.

http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2017/01/who_so_far_is_running_to_becom.html#incart_river_home_pop Who, so far, is running to become Cleveland's next mayor? A very impressive, thorough article by the PD detailing the other candidates: "Brian S. Costa - A Cleveland man by the same name lists on his Facebook page that he is an officer with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District." "Angela Y. Davis - A Cleveland woman by the same name lists on her Facebook page that she works for the U.S. Postal Service." "Barbara A. DeBerry - A Cleveland-area woman named Barbara DeBerry lists on LinkedIn that she is founder incorporator and proposal writer for W.H. a. T International Enterprises and a former election official with the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections." "Ja'Ovvoni Garrison - His Facebook page introduces him as a "Future Mayor for the City of Cleveland." Cleveland.com reported on Jan. 7, 2017 that Garrison is a former Slavic Village Development community organizer who is using his skateboarding expertise to attract grant money to provide free skateboards and lessons to low-income kids." "Renee Saunders - A Cleveland-area woman by the same name is listed on LinkedIn as a student at Cleveland State University." "Landry M. Simmons Jr. - A Landry M. Simmons lists himself on Facebook as a Strongsville resident and a sales consultant for Auto World USA."
  21. So you have the option of buying both activated and non-activated tickets at the machines? Every time I buy a ticket, I can't recall seeing either option - I just buy it. Or am I just going crazy? Why would they sell some tickets that are automatically activated once you make the purchase? If all tickets were non-activated upon purchase, then there's no confusion at all. The clock wouldn't start ticking until you use them, which everyone can understand.
  22. What exactly does activation mean?

What on earth are you guys talking about? I, and I am certainly not alone, have known and do know plenty of tall women who don't remotely fit those descriptions. They may be a little annoyed with people patronizing them about their height, and sometimes they slouch in pictures, but they in no way are angry people, and I can't think of any who fit that bill. Now if you're discussing models who tend to be tall and their snobbish, superior attitudes, well, that I can see.
  25. Oh just let the f'ing buses through Frank. It will really screw up what is otherwise a lovely connected park, but this battle isn't worth it. Consulting and legal fees and now federal fines mounting to no end - this is a lost cause
