F words and N words at full volume. Complete maniac. The bus driver had to pull over and threaten to turn around as the people by me and I were about to jump on the freak. He was truly menacing and distracting the driver and everyone on the highway at night. Very unfortunate scene, though thankfully uncommon, and the nutter did settle down. Guess these things happen once in a blue moon.

Lax & Mandel in South Euclid is closing due to the owner's declining health and $100,000 in debt. It doesn't hold a candle to the original Cleveland Hts branch but still a disappointment for the orthodox community. The owner said there are two prospective buyers, one of whom is a local, so I guess that's something.

My dad is nuts for Corner Bakery; he's very happy about the news. Hint: after 11am most of them throw in a free bagel or muffin after purchasing one.

Coffee Phix has finally reopened in South Euclid. It's been almost a year and in a new location in the Marc's strip mall on Mayfield. Not quite as charming as the previous location but a quality independent coffee shop. The community helped a lot too with donations; this business isn't easy

I've seen some customers exhibit horrible behavior on the trains and buses - loud music, swearing, n-words, threatening and intimidating passengers - and they're always left unscathed. But because she didn't show her pass in the right manner and was ornery, she gets traumatized and assaulted. Unbelievable.
