Avon, Ohio
As a native of Avon Lake, our neighbor to the south was a little touch of the country. My cousins had a farm in Avon through the 1970s. I think the infill is great! Avon from these pics shows no reason why it should be the brunt of jokes. Nice job.

Indiana Dunes Beach after Hurricane Ike
Reminds me of a song from my childhood: "The foolish man builds his house upon the sand, and the rain came tumbling down ..."

My hometown: Saginaw, MI
I grew up up the Dioxin River (Tittabawassee) from Saginaw in Midland. I knew Saginaw when it was a great little city. You should point out the big divide between the former Saginaw City (West Side), and East Saginaw (East Side and Downtown). The last shots were on the still viable West Side of the City of Saginaw. The situation is much like Benton Harbor /St. Joseph. Closing my eyes, I can still see the money, and the bill whooshing through the pneumatic tube to the cashier's office in Morley Brothers, Downtown Saginaw. Thanks for bittersweet memories, Hayward.

Religulous - Bill Maher Documentary
And if the religious folks are like the ones in Memphis at the time their preachers railed against "The Exorcist", the lines will circle the building.

The Big Sort in Suburban Dayton (Oakwood & Washington Twp)(Lotsa Maps)
Jeffrey- Thank you. I have been waiting for your next installment. You never disappoint. I have always found it interesting that you live in Washington Twp. instead of some fabulous urban neighborhood. Do you find the Washington Twp. to be tolerant, if not liberal?

Versailles, Ohio
The pun was OK, but is it true? Is there something nefarious about Darke County?

"Upstate" Ohio?
Since "upstate" is not capitalized, I believe they are using it as a directional rather than a region name.

That land of cold and snow, aka Buffalo.
I feel at home in any city that touches a Great Lake. There is a tie that binds all of them from Rochester to Milwaukee. Nice shots.
