Finally!!!! Man can you believe they're only 1/3 the way up now. They got alot more to go! LOL! Woot! for progress! They are working on floors 14-15 this week. So I guess they're gonna go up another 15 floors with the core the way that it is now and then they'll bank down one more until the reach the top floor?

IMO The google maps image and the NASA image are about the same vintage...and if the OH side and KY side are the same flight, then the google maps image is older, as the Newport Pavilion has not even started Nasa releases images for PR purposes...and I don't think this image was released by NASA to create buzz for the Space Station flyover of Cincy...WLWT probably dug it up from the NASA image archives. In this picture QCSI was being constructed. So it's almost 5 years old?

AWESOME pics...it's so irie because most of the people in these pictures are dead haha. But wow...it absolutely amazing to look back. How have things changed, look at the way people dressed back then. I thought that was just the movies impression of back then? LOL

I have a question, now that they have cut off one elevator. How far will they go up with just the 3. Or will they bank that third one once they reach a certain height limit. You know this thing looks really odd right now? Any architects/enthusiast care to explain what's going on in terms of the core/floor space ratio?

The core jumped today. Interesting how this is going to work now...they dropped one elevator bank. Cool, so this thing should rise much faster now that the core has literally shrunk.

I guess sarcasm really don't translate well on paper. But um yeah I knew they were working. I've just seen little visible changes to the site on the site-cam in the last few days.

I wonder if they're sitting on their asses today? I see no significant outward signs of progress today or for the last few days for that matter? Tighten up workers, don't be like the WTC site which has been working for 2 years and barely broke ground. They were moving so fast. Now things have slowed down abit.

So are they just gonna cut off that one end, and go up like that?

Oh geez seems like a lot of work. But you know I thought they would be higher than this before they did the core changes? Hmh i guess they are at the 16th (technically it's the 20th b/c of the sub levels) floor for the core though huh? Thanks for your explanations guys.

Oh ok...well it scared me. LOL...Well I know they are suppose to have a thinner core at some point but I don't think they would tare down the form for that though? BTW it looks like more than netting came loose, more like some wood too. Besides I thought I saw someone taking it down yesterday? Maybe they had to fix something?

Can somebody tell me what the heck is going on with the QCSII site? It looks like they're tearing down part of the form for the core or something tore a piece of it off? check the site cam to see what I'm talking about?

While I like the city I do not prefer to live in one. Too crowded, I like grass, trees, and bushes. I am a country boy at heart!

Cool view of the skyline from there...man QCSII is going to be tall...looking over at how tall Carew tower is, I can see what this empty space will look like once the 600 footer gets built. Sweet!
