  1. OH it's definately the biggest, I'll give you that. But is it the tallest? Cool pic BTW J.
  2. The lighting in this picture is perfect. Nice capture Jake.
  3. The main crane will be the last to go. It's there for at least another month or two.
  4. This picture makes me laugh! :-D
  5. Has the garage crane been dismantled yet? I couldn't really tell from the webcam but it looks gone.
  6. That's what I thought. I thought we settled that a few pages ago.
  7. What glass?
  8. Damn you I actually thought they were going to add at least a 50 foot flapole for a second!
  9. LOL I mean the forum actually. I did respond. This is such a huge site. I don't know how to get updates and stuff. So I have to manually look for topics that interest me.
  10. LOL...Well thanks!
  11. Well I enjoyed the 72 weeks of discussions and fighting over QCS's looks. This forum is awesome.
  12. Well I guess this thread is closed. On to the banks!! LOL Nice pictures everyone. It's been a long wild ride watching this baby rise! I'm sad there will be no more rising
  13. Now that's a worthy skyscrapper! What that's probably 700'+?
  14. I just thought about this. Most people probably are looking at this building and mostly taking in the view of the windows and not including the height of the tiara (Mainly because at certain angles you can barely see it). So the actual building with windows is about 535' which is actually shorter CT. It's the tiara which gives it the edge of CT. I bet if you dropped that ugly tiara and had actual floors all the way up to 665', and slap a 20' flag pole on top it would probably look a lot taller than CT.
  15. Also, Queen City Square sits at a much lower elavation than Carew Tower so there's that to think about. Not to mention the distoration factor from it's apparent longer than average length. Carew tower is probably half as long as QCS. If QCS wasn't a long it would definately appear taller I think. But to what 1012 was saying perception is what people will go by and this thing is and will always "feel" shorter than Carew Tower. I guess we'll just have to live with this until another building comes along in 2032.
  16. We've been discussing that. We don't know yet.
  17. I definately agree with that statement sir! I nearly crashed trying to take those photos you know haha! I was thinking I got to post these pictures!!!
  18. Do you mean this angle? or The cut in the hill is by far the best view of Cincinnati IMO.
  19. Photos from this evening. This building looks so out of place over here by its lonesome haha...take a look! I was trying to capture the building at different stages during the evening. I sat for two and half hours taking photos of this building!
  20. or maybe they left that giant hole in the top to get it out? I don't know what he said ^
  21. They actually have a lot left to do before the crane comes down. SO I suspect it will be another 2 months with the pace they're going before we start to see the crane dismantled. I'm sure they'll lower the booms the same way the brought them up.
  22. Lol because 35% of it's height is in the length of the building (not including tiara). It's the perception I guess.
  23. I agree that Tiara ain't worth a damn if you can't see it. Right now it's starting to look fat like the rest of the building now that they are adding the last arch to it.
  24. Took it out just for this pic.
  25. QCS in 1940s
