  1. Pouring cement at the tunnel/ rail road bridge at W. 73rd (( ps -- What a beautiful sunny New Year's day at the Lake! :) ))
  2. A video of the West 73rd construction. Courtesy of Matt Zone's Facebook page.

  4. Great pics. Quick update: Exit ramp eastbound into Edgewater Park re-opened today. :)
  5. I would love to see Constantino's move to a slightly larger space from their current location on Clifton a few blocks down. But to be honest, I'd take any quality anchor. Matt Zone made a little statement (from his FB page)
  6. I took this picture on Monday. This is the first signage I've seen for the Bikeway. (This is at Edgewater Park exit, south side of the road at the stop sign)
  7. And this one is just this morning. They have the crews out doing the road surface markings on the new ramp. This is new from just this weekend.

  9. CHA is now open in Battery Park (replacing the wine bar). They did some re-design, adding some windows on the West wall that make for a nice sunset view from a new bar top in the NW corner. Had a pizza and a couple of beers the other night. I think it is a simpler concept than the previous tenant and will be able to stick around a while... if they can survive the construction phase.
  10. Walked through the 65th tunnel now that it's open. The exit ramp East bound into the park looks completed.
  11. West 65th pedestrian tunnel re-opened today. Just in time for high season ;)
  12. The big crane and the early signs of what looks to be the actual tunnel under the RR tracks.
  13. Heard some construction noise so took a walk over to 73rd today. Lots of excavation with dirt being loaded onto trucks and hauled off. I think they are actually digging the tunnel portion under the rail road tracks now. Slow and steady progress. :)
  14. It's great. I am particularly excited about Banter. Craft beer and poutine... what's not to like!
  15. Trains are using the accessory RR tracks as of today. Thus far they are coming through slow and squeaky .... house jiggling a bit.

  17. OK guys. Sorry. I'm even slower than my prior post made me look. A bit of time on google maps and I realize that the building at the S/E corner of 58th and Tillman is actually just the southern extension of the Templin-Bradley building at 5700 Detroit.
  18. Ooop! Big error on my part. That would be 58th and Tillman. sorry
  19. Looks like there was a demo team in asbestos suits tearing out at the brick building at 58th and Herman (S/E corner). Anyone know what's going on? __ On an additional note, the demolished building at 67th and Herman now looks to be in the midst of having some decorative landscaping with some winding stones and such. Will try to remember to post a pic later today.
  20. Slightly (or more than slightly OT) -- But the OLMC Procession will have an altered parade route this year due to the construction. (They usually come down 70th to Father Caruso dr then back up 69th). This year they will cut right through the backyard driveway of Casa Belvedere condos. That gives me the best view ever .. 10 feet right out my kitchen window! :)

  22. It was later condemned by the city, which ordered Deleva to either demolish it or renovate it.... http://planning.city.cleveland.oh.us/bza/bbs/agenda/2014/AGENDA01292014.pdf Docket A-293-13 6609 Herman Avenue WARD: 15 (Matt Zone) Here's on drive back fromwork today: I guess he chose .....demolish!
  23. Drove by and saw a dumpster and what looks like demo-in-progress on this building at the S/E corner of W67th and Herman today. Anyone know the plan? Just a private rehab?
  24. Laying down the RR ties for the shoefly
