  1. It seems that most cities have soccer-only stadiums, because 25,000 fans is a stadium that seats 28,000 looks good, while 25,000 fans in a 70,000 seat stadium looks bad
  2. They are probably already paying people whose responsibility is doing those things. Whether they get done or not may be the question.
  3. How long did it take to build the Golden Gate Bridge? Longer than this?
  4. I worked in the then-Union Commerce Building from 1981-83. Back then Ernst & Whinney (before Young), Squires Sanders & Dempsey, and Jones Day were all in the building. Huge traffic jam of suits waiting for the elevators (This was even before Casual Fridays were a thing) Down in the arcade was the Guvernors Pub, a Burrows (who remembers them?), a coffee shop, a Post Office and more.

  12. and given how close they are to busy railroad tracks, I would hope they do a good job with insulating against sound, too.
  13. Instead of "Ohio State Murders" shouldn't it be "The Ohio State Murders"?
  14. I would also vote that this is not "transformative". There are already many new (less than five years old) apartment buildings, one right across the street and others within blocks, as well as some big residential developments even older right off the Superior Viaduct.

Anyone who says the score is "Nil-Nil" is nothing more than a gol-durn Communist
  16. And even closer to the sewer plant
  17. I'm not an expert in this, but I would guess the electrical/networking/HVAC. etc for a hospital /medical building is much more complex than it would be for an office building

Mobley is listed as 6' 11"
  19. In another story, they said the NY Philharmonic concert was at Gray's Armory
  20. The West Park Shopping Center - former Kmart - is well underway, so it can be moved out of proposed.
  21. Fireworks on the 3rd instead of the 4th? So that they can be postponed a day in case of rain?
  22. It is probably going to be both. According to Google Earth, most of the vacant land on the site is either to the south, straddling the muni border, or on the west (Sheffield side)
