  1. How should the US handle immigration?
  2. Yes! The Kroc center. I was confusing it with the mosque south of Dayton.
  3. yeah, i am thinking south of 675 but it might just be my crazy imagination...
  4. I think it's outside the 675 belt. It looks like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/47081385@N00/1282962134#
  5. Let's not underestimate the importance of the free fare was in the success of other similar transit systems. Also, I hope they take credit cards.
  6. Ahh so they will be like the others. Is 3CDC still involved with this project? Is this part of phase B or whatever that includes the renovation of Bangs?
  7. That image helps actually though I can't pinpoint it right off the top of my head.
  8. what is its nearest landmark? how far from downtown dayton?

SB5 is just a start. Ohio needs to be a Right to Work state.
  12. So you're saying we're all going to hell together?

I just hope the next mayor isn't Chris Smitherman with an anti-streetcar majority on Council.
  14. It makes one wonder, what are we doing wrong that they're doing right?
  15. The most pressing issue with the streetcar right now (other than making sure it survives) is making sure it flourishes when it is finished. The key to this seems to be determining the correct fare. It'd probably be decried as either opportunistic or racist to charge different fares for different stops even though it might make sense depending how you look at it. (?) Remember: ridership numbers matter in a big way for the streetcar's longtime survival.
