  1. The placement of the trees looks odd. Some of that looks like trees surrounded by pavement and no parking. Some that look part of the same area are in grass some in pavement. Weird indeed.....
  2. The one in Texas went through. I say why not? They have the facilities for it. If you were making an argument for location, this isn't the place though. Anybody could drive to Indy, Michigan, Chicago, or even Bristol to get to a race.
  3. If Delta ever picks itself up off the ground, we could see service to Tokyo or the Far East. That's only if they get themselves off the mat though and order some more 777s.

Hopefully they do it. Somebody needs to pressure Linder to get serious about this team and hire a real GM and a real manager to fix the team.
  5. Why not a combination of the two? A Light-Rail streetcar type system to run inside the city and its surrounding areas and a commuter service out to the suburbs and places like Kings Island and the airport. The two could be connected by a central station and travelers could transfer from one to the other. They could even build a big train station downtown to handle high-speed rail to places like Dayton, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville and Lexington. I wonder what the feasibility of building electric rail for the commuter part? Then you can build the track along the highway like they want and have high-capacity commuter while laying part of the groundwork for electric high-speed.
  6. The land-based plan would be nice to get rid of the surface lots that are now there. But I wonder what would go in there? If the Banks gets off the ground I'd assume most businesses would want to locate there instead of in Covington.
  7. Canon Powershot G6 7.1MP with 4x optical zoom http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_g6.asp
  8. 12 bucks for those seats? That's better than the 12 dollars for View level seats at GABP. I've never been a fan of that stadium though. I'd take GABP or Jacobs any day over a domed field. Nice shots! It sure is a nice city.
  9. It's alright. Hopefully the video screen doesn't lead to those big advertisements that blitz Times Square. That's the last thing Cincinnati needs.
  10. I wonder if Phase II really goes through, if they will keep it as the tallest? And keep the design shown in those renderings too. I like that design. The pinecone doesn't look too bad to me.
  11. That's really cool. Neat use of space. Beats walking on the street level anyday.
