^yes it was, there was much more to it than pounding paint on a drum. The GigiPad was pretty darn funny.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Does Vegas pull these numbers out of its butt? My understanding is that the line moves as people bet a one way or another, which means that technically SHS's statement is true. Think of the whole "wisdom of crowds" thing, with the crowds in this case underrating the Brownies. Yes there is the "wisdom of the crowds", and I'm sure Vegas isn't worrying too much about the Browns covering two games. What it likely means is that the bookmakers didn't really know how bad the Bengals really were or how close the Ravens seem to play everyone. IMO That had more to do with the Browns covering. The pushes are actually the bookies calling the game exactly.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
That will be a good place for an outpost, and likely . Can't imagine more than 10 people in that spot, it is a bit on the small side. Especially compared to the floorspace of Environments 4 Business. From their website (http://www.bobermarkey.com/breaking_news_and_alerts/cleveland_office_1010): "The new facility will be used as a more convenient meeting location for its expanding base of Cleveland-area clients." and this is a nice plug: "“Right now, there are many benefits to being in downtown Cleveland, with the numerous investment and development projects taking place,” he explained. “The multi-million dollar Euclid corridor project spurred a tremendous amount of re-investment from Euclid Avenue property owners near our new office; the Medical Mart will be breaking ground soon; and we’re excited to see what is in store for the Flats. We’re pleased to be in the center of it all.”

^ No it means Vegas didn't know how good these Browns are or how to rate them.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I know I didn't directly mention it, but that was not the vibe that I got from the place at all. Agree wholeheartedly. More relaxed and the TV's around the Bar were not set to an annoying level. EC would have liked it.

Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
So once this is done there will be two vacant spaces between public square and E4th, Bang and Clatter and the bombed out space next to it. Actually, it goes all the way to the first Colonial Arcade entrance. I though the Healthline killed all business though??

^That wouldn't have been my first thought. Mostly because there wasn't a Radio Flyer tacked up on the wall.

Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
^ The exterior is a massive improvement from the complete dead space that was there. It will be better once they finish the second half, while the exterior is complete there is still a good amount of construction going on inside. Probably for classrooms or something. Anyway, a vast improvement

^ Never heard anything bad though either. I was there once or twice and their Happy Hour pizzas were pretty good.

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
Thank you this is what I was about to say. The owner has no reason to be altruistic. As long as the property is within code that is all we should require. Anything else then we are going to have more empty properties due to increased hassle for companies to operate here.

The Bodies exhibit runs through Oct. 31. Is there a plan to put something permanent in that space of is going to be a revolving show space?

Cleveland: The Residences at 668 Euclid Avenue
They have placed chairs and tables next to the windows. Now there is basically a hallway in front of the windows, with a frosted "Wyse" logo. beyond the hallway are the offices from the "houses" these are now pretty small. Also the windows for the offices are whited out. Not sure it will improve the street scene much, but I think its better than frosted out main windows.

Do we even have a right side? I thought I saw a couple of zombies in the last game out there. Seriously, every play Sunday needs to be Hillis to the left. I think there is a guaranteed 3-5 yds every play.

Cleveland: University Circle: Uptown (UARD)
I wouldn't bank on Chipotle moving in. Their location in Coventry is way to close, so unless they close that one I would say no way. Panera on the other hand has nothing in the area and should do pretty good business. While its not the most healthy of food, despite the face they put on, it is what you make it. You can have a healthy sandwich and salad, but you'd have to order it as such.

That could depend on the way the light is designed. If the way you were approaching the light was blinking red you would stop, although that does not necessarily mean that the cross traffic had a blinking red light as well. Obviously if blinking yellow they are to proceed through the light with caution. If the light was out completely then your assessment is correct and people are just idiots.

^ Agreed and not sure it will be that close. If Cleveland goes up 7-0 Cincy is going to be in trouble. Carson looks terrible this year especially.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
KJP, I think you had mentioned that the 3 C would be getting renovated railcars. Well rolling by the Brookpark Rapid station this morning were some "antique" Norfolk Southern passenger cars. These aren't the renovated cars you were talking about right? ;) BTW, do you know what/where/why they are doing here

New York City November 11th-14th. need ideas...
foursquare is ok if you"check in" but google LATTIUDE will let you see in real time, where each person your following is located. Latitude is built into google maps. I use it all the time. Right now I can see 2 kids, my cousin, and my mom, are at home. My father, brother, grand father, two cousins and six kids are at Shaker. I can see that my cousin who lives next door to me is actually in my apartment. (granted we live so close it could be off some) Latitude is great if you have kids, you can always see where they are! Before you two had your fun little rant about fashion and god knows what else. I should inform you that I have an iPhone 3G, Latitude is not native to google maps. So right there that sucks. It does work through the web browser though. Kickmap lite is exactly what I was looking for. Wish it had the timetable too, but it is nice to see where all those lines go.

New York City November 11th-14th. need ideas...
^This is my normal modus operandi. I have been studying the fun colored lines of the subway system on MTA's website. I may print out a copy and sleep with it under my pillow just to be sure that all information is being retained.

New York City November 11th-14th. need ideas...
^google maps is pre loaded on the iPhone, so been using that to get around Cleveland for a while now (the Wife still needs to work on some navigation skills but I digress). The only thing i've noticed playing with google maps online is that the station locations are not accurate, usually within a block, but it is kinda annoying. That is a possibility, I hadn't really been planning much in the evening.

New York City November 11th-14th. need ideas...
The Q33 looked quicker initially and google recommended that route including the E train; maybe its not, this is why I bring things up here to you smart people. Seems a review of MTA's website is in store for lunch today. Haven't thought about restaurants at all. I wanted to get this in place somewhat then we can decide from there. Several trains stop there, the E being one of them, I'm just letting you know which train to take if you chose that line. I ride the M60 when I leave the airport and it's pretty fast. MTA and google maps work very well I use google maps on my phone like nobody's business it's the best damn invention. You know I loved every single minute of that. You have an iPhone, is the built in Google Maps the best for directions, especially the Subway, or is there another app that works better? (damn work filter wont let me watch these fun YouTube videos. :()

Cleveland: The Residences at 668 Euclid Avenue
^ I think the "houses" aspect could have been different and unique, but covering all the windows with the frosted version of their logo was beyond stupid. If the employees wanted some privacy for the their houses then they should have given them blinds. At least they seemed to realize it was terrible and are replacing it.

Cleveland: The Residences at 668 Euclid Avenue
Well we may be getting our wish. The frosted glass look is gone(almost fully gone at least). not sure what is replacing it, but I don't think it could be any less involving the street than what was previously there.
