When is the next round of design presentations scheduled?

I am impressed with the cleaning of the tower! I do wish The County Headquarters design could have been better.

I am fine with the throwback neon can sign. I am not sure if I like the new Flats East Bank logo unveiled on Facebook.

Wow! Great progress. I have a question. Will the skywalk only connect to the new Cuyahoga County Headquarters or connect to the old Ameritrust Tower? It sure makes sense to have it connect for the hotel and residents.

Re: The Westin I live in Los Angeles and was wondering if the areas where the brick was removed is stone or stucco? The renovation has definitely refreshed this property. Is there a treatment coming to hide the parking structure?

you are comparing apples to oranges. Nobody complained about the need for a parking structure for The Horseshoe Casino. The complaint was much to do with a connected skywalk and the removal of historic structures. With regards to a Convention Center Hotel and the facilities funded by The County nobody has planned any additional park for the facilities other than a loading dock for convention and later hotel use. How is parking an afterthought? At least the old convention center provided connected parking under Mall B. A hotel with an attached garage sure seems a revenue maker and added bonus for the winter weather. I don't understand how someone can think a new intermodal parking structure behind City Hall is a great location for guest parking of the hotel.

I never said valet parking isn't an option. I find it poor planning in this entire convention center/global center/convention hotel not a single parking space was added.

So Cleveland will now have a convention center and hotel without any parking assigned to the facilities. Smart planning. Mandatory valet parking hmmm. What a great idea for a public property.

I don't understand how one builds a hotel with no attached parking. Wouldn't money be better spent on removing height to pay for the parking needed?

Where does the First Energy naming rights money go to? Shouldn't those funds pay for any improvements to the stadium?

My initial reaction is mixed. The only wish is the base align with the height specs of the original Burnham Mall plans. Right now it doesnt appear to align with anything. Other than that it has a good start for refinement

Re: the clock. The elements are nice on their own. The issue I have are the elements of the healthline were done in a contemporary style and now we are introducing elements that evoke the past. I dont think the two styles work together.

Are the outer skin windows slightly frosted? It is fascinating that we have 2 opposite facade changes going on in Cleveland. The Schofield building is removing an added skin in the 70's and The Celebrezze is adding one. I wonder in 40 years if someone will decide this addition as something to remove.

Has this passed landmarks and city planning commissions ?
