The led billboard doesn't look bad. The only thing that I find interesting is the angle of the parking structure detail makes the frame feel off kilter. It has always felt to be a design flaw.

I agree the flags are under scaled. They need to be redone to the size featured in the initial renderings

Does anyone know what the status is with the exterior facade restore of The Public Auditorium? It appears the work has finished but there seems to be a lot of missing stone repair.

Musky That is an old image with the Cleveland Aquarium as part of FEB. I think this component is dead with the completion of the Greater Cleveland Aquarium on the west bank

Thanks for the photographs. I am disappointed in the streetlamp fixtures. I wish they had either gone with what was originally chosen or went with the historic euclid streetlamp style

I am very pleased with the precast concrete pattern. At first I was concerned it would be overpowering. The subtle feel is effective and gives a nice energy to the box.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2012/03/ymca_to_move_downtown_branch_i.html YMCA to move downtown branch into Galleria, taking 30 percent of the former mall's retail space CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The YMCA of Greater Cleveland will move its downtown branch into the Galleria at Erieview, illustrating how developers and tenants are dreaming up creative ways to remake old retail space. A 40,000-square-foot fitness facility, including a three-lane lap pool, will fill the southeast section of the glassed-in former mall in downtown Cleveland. Building owner Werner Minshall plans to donate the space to the YMCA, which will undertake a $9 million renovation that could be finished in early 2014. The deal is a much-needed win for an iconic property in a key downtown district.

http://www.medcitynews.com/2012/03/nashville-medical-mart-is-still-alive-planning-for-2014-opening/ Nashville medical mart is still alive, planning for 2014 opening The property developers behind the Nashville, Tennessee medical mart say the project is still moving forward and planning on a 2014 opening. An official with the project told Nashville’s WKRN-TV that about 40 percent of the anticipated space in the Nashville Medical Trade Center was either leased or in the final stages of leasing. Project backers need signed leases covering about 60 percent of the space before they can secure the financing to begin construction. Cleveland Scene reported last week that the Nashville project was dead, but a Nashville spokesman denied it at the time. The latest TV interview by David Osborn, general manager for the Nashville medical mart, was likely aimed at squelching that rumor.
