Butchertown & The Point (louisville)
What do you want them to do with it??? 4 years ago when the post you are responding to was posted, that bridge was being converted to a pedestrian bridge. I assume that has been completed by now, the ETA of completion was 2008.

Ohio Gambling News
Milwaukee I noticed theirs. It looks to be about a 3/4 mile from the edge of Downtown (what I think is Downtown) across an industrial area and highways. I figured that was too far/not well connected enough to consider "Downtown or walking distance to". But I haven't been, so I could be wrong. Potowatomi in Milwaukee is definitely NOT within walking distance to downtown Milwaukee, unless we are using Marquette U as a definition for downtown Milwaukee.

Indianapolis, IN :: Bush Stadium
Yes, its was the old home for the Indianapolis Indians. I have not seen the redevelopment plans for a few years but, last I saw this was to be removed to make way for the expansion of the biotech park near IUPUI in the future. I'm not sure if it's still going on, but Toledo managed to find a reuse for their old Triple-A stadium. It's an old county fairground park (some Americana flavor, but it's got nothing on the new stadium). Indy's old park looks cooler than Ned Skeldon ever was, even in its prime. What kind of location is this? Bush Stadium is in a residential neighborhood a couple of miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis. It is somewhat industrial just east of the stadium, fairly rough to the west and north.

New Downtown Ballpark - Fort Wayne
Great photos! Looks like a great stadium. Myself and my Dad started a tradition three years ago. We started meeting my uncle and his son in Fort Wayne to go to a Wizards game (they live in New Haven). This year, I am looking forward to it. It will be a much different experience from the Allen County Coliseum (I think that is what it was called).

Fountain Square neighborhood - INDIANAPOLIS
First and foremost; thank you all for the kind words. I don't mind Hoosier; though I prefer Indianan or Boilermaker! I walked through a neighborhood in Fort Wayne this summer near downtown and then downtown itself last summer. I was pleasently surprised by what I saw. Having spent far more time in Evansville and southern Indiana than northern, I didn't know what to expect. I love the houses in Irvington; that is going to be next on my progressive neighborhood photographing journey of Indianapolis. Well, maybe I will go with the lesser known Bates-Hendricks; I can walk there.

Fountain Square neighborhood - INDIANAPOLIS
I have always been a fan of this site; and after lurking for quite some time, I have decided to contribute. I now present to you Fountain Square, Indianapolis style. Fountain Square is approximantly one mile south east of Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis and while I don't think of it as being downtown; many of my suburban friends refer to it as downtown. When I tell people I live in Fountain Square the reaction is typically, "Oh, you live downtown?" So anyway, here is my neighborhood, Fountain Square. (I apologize for the blurriness of some the pictures. I don't have a tripod, and I was walking my dog. I am an amateur after all.)

visiting Cincinnati friday the 13th - questions
I am visiting Cincinnati next weekend, just for to go; no specific reason. Anyway, I have only been down there a couple of times, and am looking to do/see something different. I have been to Paul Brown Stadium (to see the Colts knock Carson Palmer around) and I have been to the area by UCincy. Oh, and Mt. Adams. So anyway, I am hoping to look poke around and see something new. I live in the Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis, and am hoping to visit something similar in Cincy. I also plan to eat at Camp Washington Chili. Anything else going on in Cincinnati next weekend? Oh, and how is the street parking downtown? Is it free?
