  1. They are on Twitter. Profile indicates a Fall opening; currently accepting applications.
  2. Good call!
  3. Is this "active members" information available somewhere? I'm noticing a lot of new twirling red stars now. Including my own! ;-)
  4. ^ Interesting... I saw them using a similar device over at The Banks. Snapped one while walking by this morning.

My question is, why the hell are they returning to Seattle so soon? The Reds just played there in June 2007! Why couldn't the visit the new Minnesota ballpark? Haven't played there at all during interleague... It'd be nice to see how a small market team manages to constantly win.

The Cincinnati Reds released their tentative 2010 schedule today, with the Opening Day game set for Monday, April 5, vs. St. Louis. See the full schedule here
  7. ^Was down there today and there is not much more to show in regards to the curtain wall. Take my previous pictures and then wrap that row around to the front (as you can see on the webcam).
  8. There are big holes that resemble the RTC entrances on the 2nd Street side of Phase 1. One for stairs and one for elevator. I too would like to see subway style stairs on Freedom Way.
  9. Another row of curtain wall is going up above the existing row. This looks to be the real deal!

  11. ^How so?
  12. ^Curious. Phase II is directly against Phase I. It looks like they are meant to be connected. How will they attach Phase II's curtain wall?
  13. ^ Sigh... Anyways, took a few iPhone 3G pics today:
  14. WE HAVE CURTAIN WALL!!! iPhone 3G pics:
  15. ^Agreed. I appreciate Hofbräuhaus trying to open in Cincinnati years ago and finally having to settle on a location in Newport, but it's surronding location is less than desirable to look at. Interesting size comparison of the two: Per NYYCVB - The Hofbräuhaus Newport, the world-famous German beer garden’s first U.S. location and only its third worldwide, celebrated its grand opening in April 2003. The Hofbräuhaus Newport is a 13,315-square-foot facility with a 2,450-square-foot brewery, a “schwemme” or beer hall seating 268 people, a restaurant seating 108 people and an outside beer garden with seating for 344 people. Per Cincinnati.com - City Council approved today a preferred development agreement with Christian Moerlein Brewing Company for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot restaurant and brewery and expansive outdoor biergarten facing the Ohio River. Preliminary architectural designs show a two-story structure that would accommodate 500 people indoors and an outdoor beer garden with seating for 600. The river-facing side of the restaurant would include balconies and outdoor seating - its interior walls made mostly of glass. The restaurant's second floor "Four Seasons Room" will be available for special events and weddings.
  16. That's a great discussion over there and all, but with this being built in the Central Riverfront Park and affecting it's overall design, this would be the more appropriate place for updates on approval/designs/construction news. IMO...
  17. That sir, would be absolutely incredible! And, with this announcement, no longer a pipe dream.
  18. Brewery planned for riverfront park By Laura Baverman • [email protected] • September 2, 2009 With glockenspiels, biergartens and a working microbrewery, the Moerlein Lager House could provide the first sign of life for the long-awaited Riverfront Park and Banks development. City Council approved today a preferred development agreement with Christian Moerlein Brewing Company for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot restaurant and brewery and expansive outdoor biergarten facing the Ohio River. Set to span the full block on Main Street between Mehring Way and Theodore M. Berry Way, the Lager House will sit at the edge of Riverfront Park where a garage for the The Banks project will be constructed. It will lie just 200 feet from the southwest corner of Great American Ball Park. Read full article here: http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20090902/BIZ01/909060303/Brewery+planned+for+riverfront
