  3. Just a note: With his disability, I don't believe Mr. Portune uses staircases. And the closest Transit Center elevator requires patrons to cross Walnut St. (or 3rd street to the CRG elevators).

  11. I know the Charlotte FBI office has also moved out of their uptown building and out to the suburbs. Probably happening all across the country.

QUEENSGATE — Fast-growing payroll firm Paycor is moving out of Queensgate, the latest big company to relocate and spur competition for jobs in the region. Paycor CEO Bob Coughlin said the firm and its 420 workers will stay inside the Interstate 275 loop in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky – either in renovated existing offices or in a new corporate headquarters it will build by 2013. A relocation downtown, however, probably isn’t happening. “I like the urban core downtown, and we looked at every possible option,” says Coughlin, who started the company in the Queensgate building in 1990. “Either parking, convenience or cost became a problem for us.” Cont.

Mallory headed to D.C. for Streetcar Summit Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory travels this week to the 3rd Annual Streetcar Summit in Washington, D.C., where he will share strategies used by the city to develop its streetcar plan. Cincinnati City Council’s Wednesday meeting was cancelled, as meetings often are when he’s out of town. While there, Mallory plans to meet with officials from the Department of Transportation, the Federal Transit Authority and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, according to his spokesman, Jason Barron.
