  1. Delta Air Lines closing Cincinnati pilot crew base due to COVID-19 About 150 pilots impacted Delta Air Lines Inc. is closing its crew base of local pilots, impacting about 150 people in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. The move represents yet another downsizing for the Atlanta-based airline that once operated one of its largest hubs out of CVG Airport in Hebron. It also comes just a few months after PSA Airlines, a regional carrier owned by American Airlines, closed its 400-employee crew base of pilots and flight attendants at CVG. Airport officials could not be reached immediately for comment. Cont
  2. They also installed one on westbound Columbia Parkway, just before the Martin Dr. bridge.
  3. I rode my bike around the area the Monday before this article was published. Had no idea what they were trying to accomplish but it felt cold, a bland concrete pad with blue shipping containers. Looked nothing like this rendering.
  4. No idea how someone with his experience looked at this location and thought any type of restaurant would work.

Pike St. and E 4th Street could really use one as well. Pike should be two-way to Columbia Parkway...

Cincinnati canceled its Opening Day parade for the first time in 101 years.
  9. Banks developers scouting for restaurant to fill high-profile site Project aims to capitalize on riverfront music venue Developers at The Banks are in expansion mode again. Nicol Investments and Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate are talking with city officials about bringing a new restaurant tenant to what is now a 0.4 acre-parking lot at the corner of Freedom Way and Vine Street, said Banks spokeswoman Tracy Schwegmann. “We are actively looking to develop that space,” she said. “There’s room for a bit more capacity down there.” Cont

  11. Downtown's Mike & Carol Trotta (mens/womens clothing) is moving from their longtime home in the Mercantile Library Building (406 Walnut St) to 324 E Fourth St, across from Queen City Club.
  12. I've noticed in the mornings over the past week that the stoplights have been timed differently along 4th Street, between Sycamore and Walnut. Not sure of the ones further west.
  13. All of these Bruce Willis films have Randall Emmett behind them. He was just credited as a Producer on "The Irishman". While most believe that was a good movie, his others, specifically his Cincinnati shot films, are awful. "Mauraders" was a $15M film that grossed $1M. "10 Minutes Gone", a MoviePass production, and "Reprisal" barely made $100,000. Can't imagine “Open Source” will be any different. Speaking of "Mauraders", Netflix's $12M "Point Blank" (2019) was also partially filmed in Dixie Terminal. The only reason they'll ever be spoken in the same breath as "Rain Man".

Not surprising, tonight's Clipers vs. Lakers game has been postponed. Lakers will play again Saturday when they host the Trailblazers.

Couple of thoughts: Can't tell if these spots are reserved for EV's or if anyone can pay to park here If they are reserved for EV's, how aggressive will the ticketing be What is the maximum parking session It appears that downtown Columbus parking meters has two, really cheap, options: Three-hour meters with $1-an-hour rates 30-minute meters with $1.50-an-hour rates, or 75 cents for a half-hour Of course, in Cincinnati, registered EV's can park for free at meters.

I had pretty much given up on baseball prior to this scandal. The fact that Houston cheated and still keeps their World Series title pushes me even further away from the sport.

Seconded for Fleabag; great series. Also just binged both seasons of Castle Rock. Really enjoyed the two separate, but tied together stories. Hoping for a third season.
