Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
So which is it? The TRAC members that voted to fund the streetcar are still in their positions, no? Per the TRAC website, William Brennan, Robert Clarke Brown, Patrick Darrow, Bill Dingus, Raymond E. DiRossi, Antoinette A. Selvey-Maddox, Patrick J. Ungaro are the current members with one seat vacant. Kasich has only appointed a new Director in Jerry Wray. That's still one vote versus seven. Or will Kasich be appointing all new members? Or does Kasich have the power to veto a TRAC vote? BTW - Per their calendar, TRAC had a Working Session today at 10 AM. Is that why we have all this flurry of speculation today?

Regular hours will be 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Sunday. cont

Cincinnati: Mayor Mark Mallory
Mallory did 'Boss' 'for the people' Word had leaked out that Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory would wear a fat suit on Undercover Boss, but it was something quite different to see the fastidious, thin, always-impeccably-dressed man put on the baggy fabric on national TV. The show went over big at Cadillac Ranch downtown, at a watching party to which Mallory invited friends and supporters. People booed when Mallory went out to write parking tickets, and howled when he reacted to a worker’s eight kids by what sounded like, "Damn, bro." It was hard to imagine Mallory, who is rarely seen in public without a suit on, as someone with a belly, fake facial hair and a wig of dreadlocks. But he pulled it off – to the extent that just one of the workers he spent time with seemed to recognize him. cont You can watch the full episode via the CBS Undercover Boss website.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Smale Riverfront Park
Cincinnati city manager outlines budget cuts, effects Most of the new riverfront park won’t open because of a lack of maintenance money and municipal courtrooms may need to be closed some days because of a lack of city prosecutors, according to a memo from Cincinnati city manager Milton Dohoney. Dohoney says those are among the specific effects of the city budget passed in December. The city already faces at least a $27 million gap in next year’s budget, Dohoney writes in a memo to Mayor Mark Mallory and council members, because council used that amount of one-time sources to fill the deficit in the current budget. cont
