  1. getting these schools in shape is important in this effort
  2. This is the creme de le creme of downtown real estate. This is a downtown game changer so if Eagle can't do it, if they can't man up then let them walk.
  3. Good portion happens on campus by students I've had to be in hearings dealing with this very thing (on the Judicial Affairs Committee)
  4. Who is Mark Glove and what does that have to do with these projects? Please enlighten me.
  5. I hope that with Cedar Fair they up the thrill rides. I was at a Floraland (Disney rip off) on the westside of Chengdu (China) and they have this ride kind of like delirium but in addition to the main unit spinning each row of seats separately spins (really frigging fast). Scary, intimidating, fun.
  6. One thing I haven't liked about the mayor to this point is that although he clearly has strong viewpoints he doesn't have the strength of personality to really push things. Just not his style, for the recommendations in that report there will have to be some make your ears bleed advocates to get people in line and really push these points forward. Looking to see if Cincinnati can really make the turn or if it'll just continue to go half ass.
  7. The old one looked dangerous as hell
  8. Are there any built-in heat lamps in the bathroom?
  9. I hope Hampton makes their property urbanesque taking into account the area around it.
  10. Good it'll step up the area alot good areas need to do this stuff to become great areas.
  11. My neck of the woods!!! We get ugly buildings (noooo!!!) but still better than the crack houses that use to dot the area.
  12. For the site the planners must look at the site as helping to define a really cool neighborhood. There need to be neighborhood services to complement whatever residential development is there coupled with some good zoning as well as some space to eventually accomodate rail. As for my comment above there needs to be neighborhood services to complement whatever residents are in that area to give them that authentic urban experience. I've had the opportunity to live in Mexico, France, and China and the cities that I've lived in all had that really awesome mix of residential services that made my life really easy.
  13. I'd actually rather have a store that isn't completely full service. I tend to prefer store specialization.
  14. I would hope that some neighborhood services (dry cleaners, laundrymat) could be mixed with a few restaurants, and some other small-medium sized businesses for the area. There will be a lot of residents in that area.
  15. So is this still on hold. I walk over that bridge coming from work in Covington back home to North Avondale. This bridge needs some serious upgrading including repaving of the pedestrian walkway and attention to the rust that's all over the bridge.
  16. Exactly for me it would be perfect because I try to maximize my space with smart furniture that has the right creative elements to make things easier for me. Overall I would say the quality is good if you are trying to compare their offerings to the likes that you get from those opulent museum pieces then you'll be disappointed but overall it's good to have especially for the young and urban too bad it's in WestChester (irony).

I'm an international traveller that never goes through CVG directly for international flights. What I care more for is that they fix the broken system of flights that they currently have. Some shocks to the local economy will happen but that'll be good for getting the politicians off their asses.
  18. I've only been to the one in Chengdu, China and if this one is to be similar then it should offer a very nice experience with some offerings that this city desperately needs.
  19. Yeah very disappointing.
  20. If this is built at 30 perhaps we will get some heigh back into the old CBD.
  21. there would have to be some serious scaping around that area I work at Madison Place. I miss the old Applebees and Friday's.
  22. How often do those lights change?
  23. the benefit to riverfront development should be to enhance the overall appeal of the city and drive directional strength in the neighborhoods.
  24. 30 stories is too limiting should've asked for a 100 just in case.
  25. ^May have some great ideas but they need some promotional understanding because that website is too much.
