Cincinnati: Random Development and News
As a volunteer at Ron Mac I would think that there may be plans in the future to grow the size of the house. Routinely we are at max so perhaps the lot will extend into where the house stands, freeing up room for an addition to the house.

Cincinnati: Corryville: University Village
It was ok to look at but since there was nothing there that's pretty much all you could do.

Butler County: Development and News
Do I see sidewalks in that picture? Is this possible, walkable suburbanity? This characterless development gets no love for me, it's faux nature makes me want to gag.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Two different architectural styles largely dominate the riverfront, Paul Brown and Great American. I could see more modern elements fronting Paul Brown but largely I agree that the take should be from Great American. Also, the comments again show why you should listen to the citizenry but not fully act upon what they say. Developers create plans, most of the citizenry don't really know what they want but they can tell the difference between good and crap.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
This shit is f'd up because you have a bunch of idiots trying to create a development plan. This crap should've been in the hands of the development team, four years ago.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
This is the perfect time for ol Charlie to step up to the plate and give direction to this project's future. The county did a backroom deal and the city has been slow. This project needs a leader so let Charlie (it should be the mayor for obvious reasons) step up and work on this deal all the way to November.

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
Visually having some greenery in the heart of downtown would be nice. I don't think the trees are overly strong elements and don't overpower the square.

Who's going to the Fountain Square discussion sessions?

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
NKY is a much smaller game each of the cities take Newport, Bellevue and Covington are small and therefore alot of the issues that we have in the city they don't. But more simply Cincinnati's downtown focu is ever increasing and with the many new units coming online the Fountain Square proposal and the riverfront entertainment district called the Banks sure to come online the entire metro will benefit.

At the same time this is going to dramatically change Mt. Adams if they were to move. I hope they get a strong tenant to take over the space vacated. Perhaps unique retail to complement the restaurants nearby.

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
The plan doesn't have that many trees at least in the drawing there mostly perimeter accents. The major point of the development is enhancing life in that area. The fountain is that major draw that will help sustain a perimeter of shopping and restaurants on the square. It's the heart. Monte it does seem so progress is being made on the banks as Leeper has said that they are working to iron out the county's parking deal with the Bengals and the Reds.

Article on the Greater Cincinnati dialect
This accent point is often overblown, people speak differently but I don't usually have a problem with understanding folk. As a black man it does interest me to find out what people perceive as a black accent.

Cincinnati: Avondale: Burnet Avenue Redevlopment
Wnt on a bus tour last week of developments in the Uptown Area with many of the local developers like Miller Valentine and reps from the University reitereated that this will happen.

Cincinnati: Random Development and News
The West Side bleeds not because of lack of potential but because of civic leaders in that part of town that aren't very receptive to development.
-
Cincinnati: Councilman Sam Malone
Again I've know Sam and Chris for years this is a situation that should have been private there are things that the media has messed up and there are clearly points not being brought to light because this situation is complex. The media needs to let Sam, Chris and the families work this stuff out. Chris receives no benefit from having himself paraded onto the news and essentially exploited.

Some mofos want be happy to there's a blacktop parking lot on every corner, the guy's either joking or a dumb ass.
-
Cincinnati: OTR: Vine Street
Someone important like an exec will have to get shot before this gets significantly better. Everyone knows what needs to be done but most are to afraid to do it.
-
Cincinnati: Councilman Sam Malone
I've known Sam for 6 years this story is incredibly overblown.

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
Yes Michael you're right. I've dealt with many councils and most are very insular that don't do a very good job of galvanizing the community most are bitching societies.

Cincinnati: Bond Hill: Villages of Daybreak
Those look ok. Bond Hill already has pretty impressive housing stock take a look at Elizabeth or off some of the side streets on Reading and you'll see damn good houses with many well kept.

Cincinnati: East End / Linwood / California: Development and News
If they can get 1 additional retail outlet to risk coming over to the project then the project might explode. And 1 additional casual dining place would be nice is there talk of this right now?
-
Cincinnati: Corryville - Charlton Place
Maureen is seriously pushing Upmarket and with the proximity to Calhoun retail and a new Short Vine this'll happen pre-demand but it can still catch the wave.
-
Cincinnati: Mount Auburn: Inwood Village
Huff obviously droppped the ball, what's incredible is that there location is awesome, the exteriors look strong, and the size of that complex would be amazing.

Brittany Condo looks like it has some real potential.

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
I'm sorry to hear that as well my condolences to you and his family. One thing of note, the problem in Westwood will not get better until Kuhl and the Gang realize that this isn't and us versus them reality but that this is an occassion to take steps in welcoming the good elements and then addressing the other problem collaboratively. Westwood can't run out all the new people in town and often she veers in that direction.
