  1. It's nice that they are exploring that possibility of a Farmer's Market but I think that the logistical set up is still some years off.
  2. Corryville still sucks but it exists. With the attention that is being paid to OTR then that area should be better in a couple of years to shop at. I already do shop there and don't have any problems.
  3. city workers never say I fu**ed up
  4. Kennedy Connector Baby Oakley to get a Jungle Jim's Wacky store going into former factory By Ken Alltucker Enquirer staff writer Jungle Jim's, the eclectic specialty foods supermarket in Fairfield, plans to open its second Greater Cincinnati store in Oakley in 2007. Although no lease has been signed, the retailer expects to complete a letter of intent within a week to signal a commitment to open a store at Cincinnati Millworks. That outdoor mall is planned at the former Milacron factory off Marburg Road.
  5. Any local private market style developers doing anything like this that would work. I love the layout of Jewel Osco in Chicago. A small store with options similar to Hyde Park (strong organics and wine) would be ideal. Close that damn Bellevue store, it wouldn't be as hot as one downtown and they know it.
  6. If some deal is worked out then Kroger's will do something on that Riverfront.
  7. are they not anymore
  8. She should be concerned because that area along the river needs serious structural help before they begin seriously considering building this complex. Check the Theodore Berry Park for example.
  9. The project's not bad at all. However, I hope the leasers with this new building begin acting a little more aggressively because the majority seem lacking.
  10. That article talks about Holy Grail like it's new. In fact it was there a few years ago but suffered some business issues and was forced to close. It recently reopened and is providing some much needed drunken life for those people who engage in that sort of thing. Me personally not into the bar scene I don't drink and I like to actually dance with girls not stare at them. But anyway...
  11. If you guys stop by the development corp. then you can take a look at the plan. I was able to look at the entire huge binder of renderings and crappy studies that went into that redevelopment project while talking to a local business owner. Basically the rendering above is contingent upon the monies they receive I believe but I may be wrong that the clear coloring is a million cheaper than the other tannish coloring. The clear/white/blue coloring will only come about if the project goes overbudget. It's one of the alternative scenarios.
  12. Yeah check those renderings out and compare the details to what's on campus currently. I think you'll notice a little artistic license.
  13. There is always high demand for large footprint office space which this isn't. I think it will be good, when this is done if it does provide office space for more mid-sized companies.
  14. Not from Uncle Carl so it wont happen.
  15. I like the design it complements what's down there right now.
  16. That site is going well when will there be any retail though. Across the street there is that old theater that I think I went to when I was younger.
  17. That's good news and maybe with a push into Oakley then we're only a few years until they push into Downtown.
  18. Maybe the city can use some designation to steal land and get a developer to do something.
  19. Interesting, is that the site directly across from Cincinnati's own huge scrap iron facility. In about 10 years both sides of the riverfront will be nice

The namesake of one of the best public schools in the country.
  21. I like the moving around in that area. I don't miss the Barrelhouse because I never went there and I'm too young to legally drink. It's good that the site though will be enhanced.
  22. Good to know this project is still on. However, if this project goes on then we're going to have an economic powerhouse in the center city.
  23. It'd be nice if Leeper gets this project happening faster and with state money.
  24. Yeah those exteriors look nice but their is definitely an incongruity between outside and in. I know at least one structure is struggling for tenants. Students like the option but when it comes to signing a lease we cant get pass the financial hole will sink into. For those of us who will be on co-op or international this year this development just didnt make sense.
  25. Anything ever happen to this?
