Cincinnati: Uptown: Stratford Heights
The insides are a middle between dormish and fraternity. Usually, cheap materials with a couple stainless steal touches, the outsides will fool you. The prices are also pretty high for college kids my friend and I thought about a lease but at 625 a month plus between the two of us (around 1300) total and no separate kitchen and shared rooms we passed.

Over-the-Rhine: 2004 residential projects wrap-up
I like Mini-marts usually you find the type of small businessmen and women just trying to make a buck and provide for their kids. They're good stop and go places.

Cincinnati: Schoolhouse Lofts (E. Walnut Hills)
Actually, it is not that bad we have a pretty good historical society and many structures from the past still remain but it is sad when newer development doesn't queu the past.

Cincinnati: Clifton Heights: U Square @ the Loop
Take a look at the CHCRC plans because every indication in their plans indicated that the prices that they are charging for housing wont sale you can pick up the study for the Calhoun site along with McMillan Park at their office or get a copy from one of the local business owners who will be soon displaced. This project although needed should have had larger input from the community on responsible development to enhance not displace. Their is roughly two-hundred million dollars of development going along in that area and silly mistakes are being made. For example, the condos/apartments In that development didn't take into account ADA access and parts of the structure had to be gutted also I believe that the restaurant project adjacent to these structures was only set up for electric, no gas. Very few restaurants cook with gas. And the piping for the project was a quarter inch off and needed replacing. Also, the wall sockets were at 120 not 220. Things like this really push back development.

Hyde Park Taking a Stand
That area collapses last year the community comes together shows support and makes something happen then this crap Their quality of life at risk, residents say Hyde Park homes to become school parking? By Steve Kemme Enquirer staff writer Kathy Myers has lived on Breen Street in Hyde Park for 25 years, and says the decision by Summit Country Day School (behind her) to demolish six homes on Breen for a parking lot will harm the neighborhood. The Enquirer/Ernest Coleman Zoom HYDE PARK - Summit Country Day School's plan to demolish seven houses it recently bought and replace them with a parking lot has rankled some neighbors, who believe the project will ruin their street. During a recent two-month period, Summit Country Day School spent $1.5 million to buy six houses on Breen Street and one on Grandin Road - paying more than $500,000 above their assessed value. After obtaining the necessary permits from the city, the school plans to demolish the houses and build an 80-car parking lot that will abut Breen Street. www.enquirer.com

Yes it appears that the area will have a new front runner for the "Most Ugly and Awkward" award.

Cincinnati: East Walnut Hills - DeSales Plaza
Desales is okay I am friends with the family of the Satisfying Place and I know that that area has seen better days. Hopefully, a Neyer or somebody will invest in some nice rental properties, rehabbing some of those building a few blocks away would be nice.

Northern Kentucky: Random Development and News
Great more 350,000-800,000 condos, please stop with the upmarket and refocus to the starter condo 130-200 range because this is getting ridiculous.

Anderson Township: Anderson Center
Part of the problem with the way things are is that, that damn site by UC hasn't been spruced up in the least and wont until the Marge Schott estate agrees to it. When we're talking about crime issues then we're really talking a multi-street grid around a couple of sites in that area "not including my hood of Avondale". In 5 years when that site is spruced up hopefully we wont have the same issues and the feed into that neighborhood especially with Short Vine so close will be nice meaning attractive and still retaining that urban flavor but with what's taking place on Clifton for example than that locally owned urban flavor will be in jeopardy.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
In the Business Courier I think Leeper commented that the plans would be revealed 1st quarter 05, I guess he meant 2nd. I hope when 2nd comes he doesn't say July and I hope when 3rd is around the corner he doesn't say in time for the holidays... I think you know where I'm going with this.

Interesting project and despite the vote the church and neighborhood will still work on a plan. Hyde Park took the correct stand. Church expansion receives 'no' vote from council By Forrest Sellers Staff Reporter HYDE PARK - A smattering of applause greeted a recent decision by the Hyde Park Neighborhood Council. Council opposed the expansion plan of the Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church by a vote of 7 to 0. Three council members abstained from voting. Specifically the motion opposed the demolition of two residential homes on Observatory and Paxton avenues for an additional parking area and the construction of a new multipurpose center at the church's Erie campus. "We were pleased how council voted," said Erie Avenue resident Leah Yagodich, a church member who attended the meeting. [email protected] www.enquirer.com
