2010 Gubernatorial Election
understood, but nonetheless a 5 point swing was outside the margin of error for both polls.

2010 Gubernatorial Election
^ Poll numbers are all over the place. Last week the PD had Kasichs up 10 points and that very same night I saw a Fox News poll, which one would expect to trend republican, that only had him up 5.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
That's whats mind-boggling to me....These are FEDERAL FUNDS he would be refusing! I know there will need to be some sort of subsidy to keep it up and running, but how much per Ohioan will that come out to be?

I know Kasich is opposed to the current 3-C plan, has he offered any alternative plans for commuter rail?

2010 Gubernatorial Election
Couldn't have said it better myself ;) But.... Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, Boehner, O'Donnell, Hannity, McConnell, DeMint, Breitbart, Drudge and "the American people" disagree with you. As I said ... lawyers care about the distinction; most people do not. Most people are going to see two people making choices, one that leaves tax rates lower than the other. The argument over what the "default" or "baseline" or whatever you want to call it just doesn't have that much significance to most people. The end result is what matters. The Republicans and Tea Party'ers have been demanding FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY and a BALANCED BUDGET and now that the govener has taken a step to acheive those things they bitch. Its unbelieveable. Newsflash.... You CANNOT balance the budget and cut taxes at the same time, sorry Repubs, choose one.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Does anyone know if they plan on cleaning the side of the Hanna Building facing 14th?

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
Just from an outsiders view, How exactly should that building be one of the best in the city? I just don't see it.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
I moved into Reserve Square in August and they had only a handful of singles left in the entire complex (both towers). From what I understand there's been somewhat of a mass exodus from Chesterfield to Reserve Square, in fact the guy who lives down the hall from me said he and 40 of his friends (I believe they're all exchange students) all left Chesterfield and moved over to Reserve Square within the last year.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
I couldn't help myself.... I just read through the comments in the Dispatch article that KJP posted on the previous page and I WANT TO PUNCH A WHOLE IN THE WALL!!!!! The hate and misinformation being spread on there is unfathomable. What motivates these idiots to post such things?

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
If Kasich gets elected is 3-C completely dead? Does he have any alternative plans for rail?
-
Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
At 2 hours 5 min I would take that EVERY time I go to Columbus to visit my mom, which is about twice a month. Why exactly do the republicans think that isn't feasible?

John Boehner
Can we poke fun at Boehner for this? He's up last in the clip http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-september-23-2010/postcards-from-the-pledge

50 new jobs to Cleveland is great, but I'm more excited about the potential the PricewaterhouseCooper sees in the region.

Relocating to Cleveland from Columbus
Looked at few places today, here's an update... -27 Coltman are super nice, but the they're kind just ploped in the middle of a parking lot. No trees, no grass... Theres a pretty gross building right across the street to, dont know what it is. -Random Rd has a nice set of condos, very close to an active railroad, train went through a couple times while we were there -We were unable to look at anything on Murray Hill or Circle 118

Relocating to Cleveland from Columbus
^^No she is not Catholic, I'm not sure what her domoniation is. I would probably peg her for a wanting centrist church ^She's been sequestered in the burbs as a house wife for a long time now and I think she wants to get out. Plus, she wants to eventually meet someone again.

Relocating to Cleveland from Columbus
You have to give us more than that. What kind of home does she live in now? What type of neighborhood does she live in currently and does she want to stay in that type of neighborhood in Cleveland? Does she want to live in the 'burbs or the city What kind of activities is she into Does she want to drive, be car-litet, or be car free? How much money does she wish to spend on a new home? Has she been to or is she familiar with Cleveland? If she isn't familiar with the city, as often suggested, she may want to rent learn her way around the city then buy. Right now she lives in an upscale house in the city proper of Columbus, its very upscale and white. She wants to live in the city, meet people her age Into arts, food and church activities Shes probably looking in the 250-350k range Has been to, and enjoys, Little Italy... But def NOT familiar with the city

Relocating to Cleveland from Columbus
My mother is recently divorced and wants to relocate from Columbus to Cleveland. She's 50, relatively well to do and wants to live in a condo in the Cleveland area. I suggested Little Italy, but the only apartments I know in that area are 27 Coltman. Any advice would be extremely welcome, shes coming up Friday to start looking.

2010 Gubernatorial Election
Profound words from Scrabble again. Tell me how is that the direct responsibility of the Governor? Maybe the Republican legislators should have done something about it....You know, its not like we had a major economics crisis or anything.
