I really hope we don't go with Delhomme. Hes old, he throws a lot of picks and he folds like a tent in big games.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Way to generalize all browns fans as drunken idiots.... If anyone deserves a super-bowl its browns fans, who have been loyal through years and years of terrible teams. And the ticket prices/concessions are comparable to any other NFL team.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
The Republicans are saying 'NO' to something. That's new  Aren't these Federal funds? Why would the state not want to accept that?

Cleveland Building "Bio-Fuel" Power Plant
What an excellent project. I cannot believe that we will be the FIRST in the country to deploy this technology.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
KJP, I just read over your 3-C Mythbusters and I am becoming a believer. If similar systems have succeeded in metro's less dense than ours than there is no reason why it cannot work here. I would also like to remind people that while that trains may be slower than driving initially, at least that time can be used productively. Now if only the newspapers would take a more positive stance, the public might get behind this.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
Ours is the only one starting from scratch. Like I've said before, all new rail services start modestly. If our system is the only one starting from scratch then why are we receiving the least amount of funding? The Florida line is getting 1.25 billion which is fine they have a larger population and more tourism, but Madison to Milwaukee is getting 800 million...really?

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
From cleve.com Ohio rail fans cheer, but questions remain about $400 million train line http://www.cleveland.com/open/index.ssf/2010/01/ohio_rail_fans_cheer_but_quest.html "The trains will reach a top speed of 79 miles an hour, but average about 40 miles an hour, Prendergast said." 40 mph is high speed? We don't have this already? I am NOT trying to be a pessimist about this, I AM A GREEN LOVIN, TREE HUGGER for god sakes and I want this to work badly, but I am not seeing the light yet...

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
KJP maybe you can help me with this.... I have been reading up about high speed rail systems proposed throughout different regions in the USA and the one in Ohio is by far the slowest. Why is this? ...I should say the rail system in the midwest appears to be the slowest.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Did we ever intend to promise that?

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
The initial speed of the train and the travel time do not bother me. I'll gladly give up an hour to not have be behind the wheel of my car, plus I can be productive in a train (on my computer and such) rather than being in almost comatose state driving down 71...The price of a one way ticket being 25.00 dollars is what bothered me. I make the trip from Cleveland to Columbus about twice a month which, according to the article, would cost me about 100 dollars. I cannot afford that.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
'The passenger trains initially will run at 79 mph, transporting passengers from Cleveland to Columbus in about 3 hours for about $25 each way. As the rail corridor is improved, trains could travel as fast as 110 mph, Nicholson said.' As a resident with family in all 3 'C's' I am constantly making trips back and forth, from Cleveland to Columbus especially (about twice a month) but at 3 hours vs. 2 driving and 25.00 dollars each way, this doesn't seem very economical to me.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Those stories happen in every team. View the local paper. Um, the Saints, Colts and Vikings don't and most of the league has good to go with the bad. We do not.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Cleveland's landmark Public Auditorium is loaded with safety hazards, says MMPI as firm abandons plans to re-use it With Henry J. Gomez CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Public Auditorium is a public danger inside and out, a detailed analysis of its structure and systems suggests. Officials from MMPI Inc. explained the results of their evaluation of the 87-year-old city-owned building on Tuesday as they explained why they have dropped plans to incorporate much of it into the proposed merchandise mart and convention center.
