Cleveland: Smoking Ban in parks and public places
^ and they can continue to help sustain the arts community without having to smoke on public property. Last summer and few forum members and I volunteered a couple weekends to clean up the litter in Edgewater Park. The amount of cigarette butts and black n mild tips littered in the park and on the beach was absolutely ridiculous.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
^ Its less about bypassing the traffic (which would indeed be nice) and more about not having to deal with the snow and slush in the winter, for me anyway.

I don't get the anti bridge sentiment, If it helps connect the station to the street what's the issue?

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Getting to that station from the Market (or anywhere on 25th for that matter) is not ideal. I always thought a pedestrian bridge over Carnegie/Lorain would be awesome.

Moving to Cleveland with a dog
^ I wouldn't put her West of downtown if shes going to school at CWRU

Moving to Cleveland with a dog
It sounds like she wants to be around nightlife so I'd suggest she stay in the downtown/warehouse district area, definitely the most amount of restaurants, bars, clubs. If proximity to school is what shes after than maybe take a look around little italy.

668 is an awesome building but it may be outside your price range. You should add Reserve Square and the E. 4th apartments to your search

Panhandling can be a serious nuisance to businesses and their workforce without being criminal you guys....
-
Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
^ the apartment complex for the chronically homeless should help some, but more importantly the city, especially the central business district, needs to take an aggressive anti-panhandling stance. http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/police/crime-reporting/AggressivePanhandling.asp

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
I agree man...I'm downtown just about ever freaking day....I've never seen any issues (outside of brown's games and St patty's day). some people are just drama queens. Sh!T happens EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't like downtown that's fine....get a different job. Ok downtown resident here so dont get your pantys in a bunch.... The notion that this happens 'everywhere' is garbage. It may happen in other large urban area's but it doesn't happen in the suburbs. That is what you guys are failing to understand here. This isn't a city vs city thing....its a city vs suburb thing. Cleveland perception from those who live outside its borders is awful and we should be doing everything we possibly can to change that, especially considering our latest census numbers and the current state of e.9th st.
