Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
I would like to see the substation wrapped with a mural depicting a historic scene of the Court st market or maybe recreate a scene (w/ gatling gun) from the 1884 court house riot.

Cincinnati: Pendleton: Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati
It takes me between 4-5 minutes 18min/mi to walk to the front door of the casino from the Streetcar stop at Court and Main (2 blocks) To put this in perspective how short of a walk this is, if you park in the rear 1/3 section of the casino main garage it is the same distance (2 blocks) to the main entrance as the streetcar stop. The outside most northeasterly parking lot is 3-4 blocks away from main entrance.

Fake cincy enquirer, save everything you have. Great job collecting the data! Jimmy James -Smitherman did not attend the Washington Park grand opening. Of course he wants that to fail because the Streetcar route flanks it on 3 sides. In other news, here is the Duke Vs. City Utility Complaint Duke v Cincinnati Complaint

Does the Oasis rail line ROW travel the most southern portion of the park? It looks like it will but I don't recall seeing or hearing a definitive answer. Thanks!

Steve Chabot will be on Brian Thomas 55wkrc at 7:40 am tomorrow. Here was the poll on Brian's wkrc page... How do you think the judge will rule on the streetcar issue? Side with the city and Duke will have to increase rates to pay for the line move? Or... Side with Duke and city will have to come up with the money?

Cincinnati: Downtown: 84.51°
"Out of curiosity, is that building in Dublin?" I just did a google image search for "ugly suburban glass box" I'm not sure if it's in Dublin. To be optimistic about the new Dunhumby HQ we can all agree that the getting rid of that ugly skywalk and surface lot is a blessing.

"There's a LOT of construction happening on 12th St, it seems more disruptive than the usual utility relocations... does anybody know what that's about?" I noticed that on Thursday morning as well. There were Duke Energy crews working. They were running some tubing in at 12th and elm.

Local media is having a field day about duke rate increases. 700 WLW posted a story but after about 10 minutes of me noticing it they edited and deleted this part. I screensaved it "The possible rate increase is in response to the Cincinnati streetcar project that required Duke Energy to relocate utility lines" http://www.700wlw.com/cc-common/news/sections/newsarticle.html?feed=119585&article=10722761&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeedWe

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
I haven't read any of this thread but I just want to throw my thoughts out. The problem isn't the bridge itself, it's the number of tractor trailers and the cut in the hill going southbound. All thru trucks should be banned on 71 and 75 and should be forced to take the 275 bypass around the City between the hours of 6 am and 10 pm. BS should be brought back to it's original 3 lanes (instead of 4) on each deck.
