  2. January 21, 2011 The Latest Statement From Marshall Barnes Concerning Linkage to FRINGE: I'm writing this on the night of the latest FRINGE episode, Firefly, to reveal some secret connections in the show from my life. For those of you who read my original statement here - http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,24473.0.html from last September, you already know of which I speak. This time I will reveal some thing that I covered that day at my presentation at the Cleveland Ingenuity Festival dealing with the Observers. In short the Observers, are similar in many ways, as some FRINGE fans have noted, to the Men In Black or MIB. However, the Observers are actually identical to a specific MIB case involving a Doctor Hopkins from Maine in 1976 http://www.theblackvault.com/wiki/index.php/Men_in_Black#Dr._Herbert_Hopkins . If you read the details of the account at the link I provided, you'll see the obvious connections. What won't be so obvious however is the fact that in 1992 I did a documentary on the Men In Black that linked them for the first time to then new ideas coming from the so-called "new physics" and also information that I had connecting some of them to the entertainment world. A copy of this documentary fell into the hands of a producer of Sightings on Fox TV when I was engaged to provide some consulting work on an episode that they did on parallel universes. In the documentary I made a distinction between the MIB cases that could obviously be someone in costume and the ones that involved what appeared to be extraordinary circumstances and technology. These I linked to the possibility that they were here from a parallel universe. I had reasons for this speculation at the time, which I won't go into here, and I might add, the evidence to support everything I'm taking about will be revealed in an upcoming web site and on-line community. People in Cleveland saw a clip from the video themselves at the Ingenuity Festival on a big screen. Not long after, when the TV show MANTIS became a Fox series, there was an eventually a number of episodes where the MIB were introduced and they were said to be from a parallel universe. The first of these was Through The Dark Circle http://www.tv.com/m.a.n.t.i.s./through-the-dark-circle/episode/29264/summary.html?tag=ep_guide;summary . In my documentary I link the hand smearing the lip stick act to Romy Haag and the missing eyebrows to David Bowie who had had already done his Ziggy Stardust/Aladdin Sane bit by that time. So once you see the Observers being from the Dr. Hopkins case, it's no stretch to guess that their origin is actually from another universe and not a copy of ours. We also have a reason why the Bowie connection has been written in FRINGE, if in name only - David Robert Jones and Thomas Jerome. Newton, but let me illuminate you further - In the late 1980s, while I was working in the entertainment field, I came up with a concept band that was fictional and would involve myself and a few other musicians playing roles. I wrote all of the material and did many of the voices, including the lead singer of the group who sounds like David Bowie. In order to train my voice to sound like his, I practiced Bowie's signing from Aladdin Sane and Honky Dory, but to get his talking voice I used his role in the movie, The Man Who Fell To Earth. That's right, the character was Thomas Jerome Newton. Tony Zanetta said that it was best Bowie imitation he had ever heard (I'll let you non-Bowie fanatics figure out who Tony is, the others already know…) Again, this was in 1986 through 1988. We still have the articles, recordings and what not from the era to prove it, and Tony appears in a video we did as well as in a drug free creativity documentary we did in 1988. Why are these same Bowie elements, which are very legitimately connected it my past life and work, in FRINGE? Of course these are just some of the over 30 such synchronicities that we know of so far and I have yet to see every episode, but the introduction of a new element in tonight's episode begs the question even more. It appears that tonight they introduce a fictional band from the 70s for which, as a promotional stunt, there is an album that has been released in certain stores with clues in it. http://www.tvline.com/2011/01/fringe-spoilers-violet-sedan-chair/ Well, that also seems familiar as there were hidden clues as to the story behind my fictional band as well. Oh, did I mention that the story behind mine took place in a parallel universe not linked to Earth and was the home of a number of transdimensional intelligence groups, some of whom looked like the MIB (but not the Observers)? Yeah, and it gets better. But to read more and to see and hear much of this material for yourselves, you'll have to wait until we're done with the web sites. You won't be disappointed. Keep in mind, none this was on any of our radars until last August. I have a full plate of non-entertainment related projects that were already in progress before these elements in FRINGE had come to my attention. Now it seems that the synchronicities just keep on coming at a relentless pace. Some pattern, huh? Imagine if they were doing this from your life...
