  1. http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2015/01/ohio_state_qb_braxton_miller_c.html Ohio State QB Braxton Miller considering transfer to LSU, TV station reports
  2. Big Ben and Drew Brees are elite to me, and probably a lock to make the HOF. Eli, besides the 2 super bowl wins, has been a starter for a long time and is racking up some really good stats, he is on the cusp. Rodgers will probably get there also. I think Jim Plunkett is the only QB starter with 2 super bowl wins not in the HOF.
  3. Luck is the kind of QB who will probably get Indy into a couple of super bowls. He is a big, strong, athletic, smart QB, and the Colts have been an excellent franchise for some time.
  4. Colts pretty much dominated both sides of the ball and Dalton needs great playmakers around him downfield. Colts 4th string RB was game MVP. Same old song and dance.
  5. That is a monster audience. Not including bowl games here are the top ten from this season, #1 Auburn at Alabama (13.5 million views; 11/30/14) ESPN #2 Notre Dame at Florida State (13.25 million viewers; 10/18/14) ABC #3 Alabama vs. Missouri (12.8 million viewers; 12/6/14; SEC Championship) CBS #4 Mississippi State at Alabama (10.3 million viewers; 11/15/14) CBS #5 FSU vs. Georgia Tech 10.1 million views; 12/6/14; ACC title game) ABC #6 Alabama at LSU (9.2 million viewers; 11/8/14) CBS #7 FSU at Miami (8.74 million viewers 11/15/14) ABC #8 Clemson at FSU (8.1 million viewers 9/20/14) ABC #9 Florida at Alabama (8.0 million viewers; 9/20/14) CBS #10 Texas A&M at Auburn (7.2 million viewers; 11/8/14) CBS http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/outkick-the-coverage/the-10-most-watched-college-football-games-of-2014-121114
  6. Should Braxton transfer down to Houston with Herman?
  7. Mick is lucky that this was caught by the doctors. Hope he fully recovers.
  8. Glad that SEC got beat up bad in the big bowl games.
  9. That was one the better games I have seen UC play in some time. They dominated that game and shut down the leading scorers for NC State, on the road. If they can make open shots they are going to win often. Cobb and Deberry were steals via the JUCO ranks.
  10. Only had lunch at I think it was Bakersfield. It was fine. They are in multiple locations now. By far have eaten more at Palomino over the last 10 years than anywhere else. Never had a bad meal or service. Been to Boca a few times. Filet and Amish Chicken is very good.
  11. Is the food that good or are these just the places to be?
  12. That was a big win last night. All 3 bigs, who are first year players here, played well. Another big game Saturday against VCU.
  13. Dalton looked bad today, but if it is Brown flush it down.
  14. UC's AD Mike Bohn knows Big 12 well. He was the AD at Colorado when they were in the Big 12 and then took them to the Pac 12.
  15. It is a great market for college football and basketball. UC/Houston had a rating of 1.1, and TCU/Kstate 1.4 on Saturday. The CCGs, SEC, Pac 12, Big Ten were rated much higher, another reason Big 12 should expand, do a CCG. Hell they get 30 Million or more for a CCG.
  16. UC does not have a football facebook webpage. They have a general athletics page so they are not included in that study.
  17. Big Ten is a great conference although they have 1 basketball title in 25 years and 1 football title in 44 years. However adding Rutgers and Md just for tv metrics is interesting. UC put up 60 plus on Rutgers 3/5 years in football and crushed them in bball.
  18. And with Tubs having no interest in other jobs that is huge. UC is dam close to getting 5 star D End CeCe Jefferson to commit. He has offers from everyone including OSU and all of the SEC.
  19. Yeah I hope UC gets the invite. It is good for UC, the State of Ohio, might even help getting into the AAU. I like Memphis to tag along.
  20. Those are good points, and help explain why a school like Rutgers was picked out of the Big East over Cincy. B1G sought a large school in the NYC market, not a perennially successful program. Edit: Success on the field helps put a school in the conversation, though. If a MAC school could actually hold a candle to Cincy, people would be talking about how they should get a leg up out of the G5 (whether it would be a super serious conversation, probably not). I have a ton of respect for The Rockets and of course NIU, BGSU, Ohio etc., but if the Big 12 expands I would stunned if UC is not the first choice (for many reasons). The top of the MAC has good football teams.
  21. How about good luck to OSU, beat Alabama good luck to UC, beat VaTech. Anyone who calls UC a D1AA program has zero cred.
  22. I highly recommend taking a visit over to Nippert. The scale and scope of the West side is pretty awesome. Photos don't capture it like seeing it for yourself. That is going to be a really really loud stadium.
  23. Right call imho. OSU just completely dominated a ranked Whisky team to get to 12 wins. Big 12 teams only had 11 wins. I don't know why they still have not expanded. It is really shortsighted.
  24. So what the scoop OSU fans? Can Cardale run the offense and get a W against Whisky? Would that get OSU into the final 4? Thoughts?
