  1. If you work at the new GE office, how great will it be to walk outside and have lunch in the park by the river. I think the office spaces at the Banks are going to fill up very fast.
  2. That's exactly right. He was just talking to "Sensible" Don, making fun of trolley buses and I was cracking up.
  3. I have to say this is really great news. Shows what a highly motivated and determined group of people working together can do! I hope we can keep the momentum going to build the best regional transportation network in the mid-west.
  4. If you come early in the day you can park right under fountain square or the 580 building for $5.00.
  5. I feel sorry for the ignorance and hatred of some of these commenters and sorry that I live in the suburbs with people just like them.
  6. That's really cool! Looking forward to Bockfest next year in the new facility.
  7. In the past I would take my kids and out-of-town friends downtown to eat and look for something to do. Now I have to decide if we're going to Fountain Square, OTR, Backstage, Main Street, or the Banks (soon). Too many choices, but a good problem to have!
  8. I'm really looking forward to the new venues opening. We love to hang out downtown after Reds & Bengals games and have noticed more and more people doing the same.
  9. Hello from a suburban guy (Liberty Twp) who is really excited about the banks. I love to come downtown and have enjoyed the renaissance of Fountain Square. Via Vite after a Reds game is a lot of fun. I don't think this is a zero sum game. The more and varied restaurants, bars, unique retail, etc. that is available, the more people will come to the city. The burb's are ok if you have lots of kids, but energy isn't there. I come downtown to find it.
