I don't think we've seen Columbus's boom yet. Who are these people you're hearing? I'm willing to bet when we see the numbers for 2018 that Columbus will be +3.0%+.

Looks like a sidewalk complete to the left there, but it's 3-4 inches below the apron curb cuts so they'll be covering that with bricks. Future home of Crew Arena around to the right there. I wonder if they'll repurpose this as part of Confluence Village? Directly across from the Municipal Light Plant:

Why does height matter? If they kept the height and added to the footprint like they did they'd need an additional ~200,000sqft of space used. Considering they more than doubled the initial office space I would say they already have verbal agreements. I'm talking additionally as they said it could still go up pending needing more office space. Sounds to me like 26 floors is the floor here.- Columbus: Downtown: Merchant Building
So, yes, it dropped 7-9 floors. Who cares? It went from +10,000sqft to the North Market to +11,000 sqft. It went from 40,000sqft of office space to 90,000sqft. It went from 200 residential units to 150, but + a 210-room hotel. It went from 130 underground parking spaces to 352 above ground spaces. It also says "Restaurant and bar concepts and indoor and outdoor spaces including a rooftop venue, ground-floor retail and a wellness facility;" Not sure the square footage vs the ~50,000sqft of restaurants and retail initially. Plus, it reads to me if they find a large office tenant the height could still go up to accommodate.- Columbus: Downtown: Merchant Building
Completely agree. Plus the huge mix of uses will have hundreds of people on this block 24/7. The one thing I'm curious about is the North Market extension/atrium. If it looks as barren and useless as the bare rendering from October I will be disappointed.- Columbus: Downtown: Merchant Building

That's a great mix of uses! I like this more than the original building. Hopefully this really is the final look. Also, another hotel for the area ?- Camping in Ohio!
Unless of course your body is adapted to burning fat for fuel i.e. being keto adapted. That's where I am; not always in ketosis, but my body knows how to do it when it's time. I go on 12-15 mile hikes with a few thousand feet of elevation gain on nothing but a couple 400 calorie fat bomb protein shakes. Rickenbacker had a Total Cargo weight of 22,389,764 pounds in May. That's -9.5% from last May. However, year to date Rickenbacker is at 117,827,942 pounds; +7.5% over last year. Going back to May 2015 Rickenbacker was +46.4% for May and +35.9% YTD! FedEx continues to be the heavy carrier at ~7.5 million pounds per month. The other carriers: Air Bridge Cargo, Cargolux, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Emirates, Etihad, and UPS all bring in ~1.5-2.5 million pounds per month each.- Columbus: Random Photos

Also, it answers my question to whether this data is from 2010 Urban Area boundaries or if it includes what will likely be the boundaries in 2020. For sure on the urbanized area. I should have made that the name for those columns, but then it wouldn't fit on one sheet in readable font, and I would have had to splice and dice which I didn't have time for. Threw this together quickly on my lunch! Also, another couple errors I couldn't quite figure out how to deal with so I just left them: Cleveland's % urban decline/metro decline, and Pittsburgh's % urban gain/metro decline don't show quite right in that column. Another thing I noticed is San Juan's decline. It must only have gotten worse since Maria which happened just after what these numbers are based off of. The main city of the Urban Area i.e. the first one listed; e.g. New York-Newark is just New York, Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim is just L.A., and San Francisco-Oakland is just San Francisco. Basically what everyone thinks of when they hear "Phoenix" or "Dallas"; you don't need to add on "Mesa" and "Forth Worth-Arlington" even though they're included in the numbers. That's from me. Got bored at work today... Also you missed the bottom seven cities: Nashville and Charlotte stick out like the sore thumbs I've always thought of them as. I don't know why people are so enamored with Nashville. Hard to tell if its "roll" will continue. It seems so fake. My best friend lives there, and I've been a handful of times. I've always thought it very similar to Columbus, but with tourism vs livability. I mean, Nashville is 71.30% the Urban Area as Columbus, but has 3x worse traffic. Horrible infrastructure there. If you saw what it looked like even three years ago you wouldn't think it has "a long way to go." Those houses were going for $30,000 then. Now I see flipped ones listed for $200,000-$300,000. Plus that particular neighborhood West of Cleveland Ave, East of the railroad tracks, and south of Rogue Fitness HQ is small enough to be its own little enclave in the rougher Milo-Grogan neighborhood.- Columbus: Weinland Park Developments and News
Five-Story Building Approved for Fifth and Summit "A plan to build a five-story mixed-use development at the corner of East Fifth Avenue and Summit Street in Weinland Park is moving forward. The building, which will sit on the northwest corner of the busy intersection, will contain 108 apartments over ground floor parking and a 2,000-square-foot restaurant space.
