Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
"Just like in Chicago, Cleveland employers have made it clear access to public transit is a priority for attracting new employees." They have? I interviewed for two downtown jobs last year. Both of them offered incentives for using public transportation. Ironically, the namesake of the HealthLine, Cleveland Clinic, does not offer any incentives.

Cleveland / Lakewood: The Edge Developments
The owner John who was gay died last year, but the family took it over as a not necessarily gay, but inclusive bar. Here is the article where they are stating "It's not a gay bar, it's a social club that is gay-friendly". Sorry to confuse you so. http://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2014/08/twist_on_clevelands_west_side.html Honey, it's a gay bar.

Cleveland / Lakewood: The Edge Developments
Heard a few rumors regarding this area: 1) The owner of the Diner on Clifton has bought the former PNC bank building and will be relocating there but lots of work to do for build out. The appeal is to be an owner of the building and not a tenant in a strip. 2) A barber shop is going in next to TWIST on the other side 3) TWIST will more than likely expnad into the old Diner space 4) Starbucks is moving into the end of the plaza into the old Charter One spot All rumors... but quite interesting ones. Anyone know anything else?

Ok you're right. I'm wrong. Sorry for voicing an opinion on a forum!

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Can anything besides a bar or restaurant be built in this town? It's getting old. You mean besides the hundreds of new residences under construction or about to be, the 1200+ new hotels rooms set to open by this time next summer, a massive public square makeover, a half a billion dollars in new bridges, new convention ctr, improvements along the river-boardwalk/rowing center/water taxi/canal pathway, further improvement to Edgewater park/beach house/ shore way conversion, downtown grocery store, Giegers Sports... What would you suggest? You missed the point.

Cleveland-Lakewood: Enhance Clifton Transit Project
So hypothetically (), if it turned out that after construction the Shoreway once again had three lanes, you'd be less concerned, yes? I don't think that is the sole issue. Do you use this route for your morning and afternoon commute currently?

Cleveland-Lakewood: Enhance Clifton Transit Project
Agreed - this thing is a mess. How is it going to get better after construction? It is still going to be two lanes only, and an even slower mph. My commute has been a total nightmare and taking the bus would not alleviate it at all seeing as they sit in traffic on the shoreway as does every other car. Coming home is even worse. While aesthetically it will look better, functionally this was not thought out well enough. Or it was thought out by people who do not live in the area and use this thoroughfare.

Cleveland-Lakewood: Enhance Clifton Transit Project
As a commuter from Lakewood, this thing has killed my commute every morning. Coupled with the work being done on the shoreway, that whole corridor is a boondoggle. It is not regulated by cops - I see it happen every day. The signage is barely noticeable unless you're looking. Additionally the traffic is sooooo backed up. I cannot believe how much it has changed. My commute used to be so easy. And to think this is going to go on during this whole conversion process. I am having a hard time seeing how when the work is all done, anything will change about it.

It kind of reminds me of the Juvenile Court building on Quincy Ave.
