I watched the show last night. I didn't take it as bad-mouthing Cincy.

Hot tickets By JOHN BOOTH 11:45 am, October 10, 2007 www.crainscleveland.com
  3. The NOACA leader, while spineless, tries to ride the RTA to work every day from the Heights. If he were playing SimCity, we'd have an awesome transit system. However, he operates in reality and readily bows to those with stronger voices.

George Steinbrenner still has a lot of relatives in Cleveland. I know that his mother still lived here in the 90s (across the street from my then-girlfriend). Just got some tickets for game 5.

Wow, those are amazing. Its hard to believe that professional athletes are making only $11,700 per season.

What is the average attendance for Crew and Blue Jacket games? When did the Blue Jackets enter the league?
  7. Congrats to the Bearcats on their success. Do they have any difficult opponents left on the schedule?
  8. Do you know that sales numbers so far?
  9. Its been my experience that NOACA is anti-sprawl and pro-urban. While this is what they'd like to see, they crumble when the suburban and non-Cuyahoga county board members demand that they support sprawl.
  10. I have a slightly different take on NOACA. The director was hired at a time when the agency's existence was threatened. He was chosen because he would listen and obey to the directors. He constantly points out how difficult it is satisfy the diverse opinions in the seven county region. His heart is in the right place (pro-public transit), but he doesn't have much backbone to fight for it.
  11. ^Coral is the management company, not the owner. They are also managing 1900 Euclid (loft apts across from CSU).

From the names of the establishments to the description of the decor, I was cringing throughout the entire article. However, it does sound like this will be a great addition to the Stonebridge neighborhood.
  13. Do you work for Cleveland Magazine?
  14. ^but the vast majority of workers would only be relocated from other buidings in downtown.
  15. Punch, Back in the 20s, they used to refer to the UC area as Uptown.
  16. ^because the park is well hidden from the street, there is a lot of illegal activity that goes on over there. The police are very much in favor of this plan.
  17. The former school building??? That is the original Hathaway Brown.
  18. I absolutely agree. How do they come up with this stuff?
  19. Downtown CLE apartment update: Reserve Square has only a 2% vacancy rate (down from 10% earlier this year). Eli Mann is busy working on his Euclid apartment project and Doug Price (Stonebridge) has purchased the Atrium building on Euclid.
  20. Ok, you're not the Clevelander who moved to Dallas and back that I was thinking of.. OC=Ohio City

Wow, thanks for posting that Daily News stuff. Some pretty laughable content in the position by position comparison. The ace "scout" they quote is probably the guy who convinced the Yankees to pay a $26M posting fee for Kei Igawa . where is the comparison page?
  23. shs96, do you live in the oc and are working towards a dual degree?
  24. ^I've heard that they are up to 50 pre-sales.
  25. FEB will happen.
