Cleveland Browns Discussion
^they love Lakewood! They've lived too many years in a cul-de-sac and have finally seen the light. I wish that I could have be at CBS today. What a great win for the franchise!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Wow, what an awesome game. Sure wish that I could have watched it. I was busy showing houses to my in-laws (retiring to Cleveland from Nashville!), so I was busying doing my part for Cleveland.

Dubai: Developments and News
You can have vertical sprawl...and IMO, that is what Dubai is experiencing. Even though they are building tall buildings...I don't think it's being done in a sustainable manner. Just some food for thought. Totally agree. We've had this debate over in the Cleveland threads regarding the potential new tower.

Regarding Little Italy: Lillian Kuri (one of Cleveland's greatest assests) is building a green townhouse on Edgehill just down from the Edgehill townhomes.

I heard that as well. I didn't know how to take it. Did the guy know something or was he just thinking out loud? If he's just speculating without some insider knowledge, then its rather inappropriate to do so this way.

Living Car Free
One thing that I really like about living in Ohio City is that there are so many like-minded folk nearby. If I had to go car-free, I wouldn't be difficult because most of my friends live in walking distance. Regarding the babysitter thing--MayDay, are you offering your services as a babysitter? ;) The wife and I are celebrating our 7th anniversary this weekend and ...

The top 10 easiest U.S. airports to get to
I'm a little surprised by some of these airports. Chicago? The traffic is horrible and the train ride is very long.

Cleveland: Local Media News & Discussion
I wask talking with a councilperson who had just met with the PD last week (it was some sort of media/city summit). Because Cleveland is the posterchild for poverty and foreclosures, there are media outlets from around Europe that are coming over here to do stories. Many have said that they come expecting "Beruit" because of how the rest of the US portrays us but then are blown away by a "beautiful and functioning city". And something else about Feagler admiting that he hasn't been in a Cleveland neighborhood in a few years.

Help the pope find an apartment!
If you have some time to walk around, Jay Ave usually has some very reasonable rents for such a fantastic street. My friends had a huge 2 bedroom that they rented for $650. They just moved out and for all I know it might still be available.

Help the pope find an apartment!
I had a friend who rented in the Metzner building on 25th. I thought that it looked great. It was $650 for a one bedroom. Bamboo floors, high ceilings, open floor plan. Very nice.
