Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Madonna Place is now called Chester82. They put a sign up today on the site. There is also 6-unit cluster home development just off of Chester at E.79.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Is there a total price tag # for the entire project? Obviously its too preliminary for an accurate number, but is there one anyways?

Cleveland: Bob Stark Warehouse District Project
Does anyone have a ball park figure for the # of housing units that Stark has planned for phase I?

Buckeye Building (and relocating to Cleveland)
I can't speak for all the units.. My sister in law lived there and they are very nice.

^my suggestion more has to do with the noise factor. I think that E.4 is only going to continually get louder and the Warehouse District is already loud. That said, I think that it would be a decent fit for our KC friend.

Buckeye Building (and relocating to Cleveland)
hmm, i'd say that you sound a little more Ohio City than downtown. Have you checked out these places: ww.clv-lofts.com Federal Knitting Mills, Merrell and Metzner buildings are all very nice and immediately adjacent to some great bars and restaurants.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
if you look on the first floor of the first building, it looks like the tree is inside.

tbone, if we knew your tastes, then we'd be able to help you a bit more. What appeals to you more: -clubbing -beer and shot joints -brew pubs -coffee shops -sports bars -will you be living with a significant other -how would you describe where you live now and do you like it? -do you prefer gritty chicago neighborhoods or newer sunbelt living? -do you like unique restaurants or are fine with a burger and fries?

Cleveland: To RTA or not?
Where are you coming from? There are many convenient park and rides. If you're coming from Columbus, I'd exit 71 at the West 150th exit. The rapid station and parking lot are directly adjacent to this exit. Take the redline straight to Tower City and then you can walk the tunnel to Jacobs Field. Are you familiar with the pedestrian tunnel connector?

Happy Birthday MayDay!
Now the name makes sense to me..

Cleveland: To RTA or not?
How much do you want to pay? I have never parked for an Indians game because I don't want to sit in traffic on my way out. If I would park, I'd park about 10 blocks away so that I could miss the traffic and pay lower prices. I work just outside of a lot that charges $10. It is about 5 blocks away from the ballpark. Take RTA. Its more fun.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Sorry, can't share that stuff yet on this forum. But, I don't know much more than what I said. KJP, I think its just a rectangle. It was just a shape. No words or labels.

Buckeye Building (and relocating to Cleveland)
^tbone, Ohio City definitely has some night life. And it has just about everything in walking distance of some great moderately priced apartments. I think that you might have the wrong impression of Ohio City.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
I saw something interesting on a map of the Flats. This map shows the general footprint of FEB and the full build-out of Stonebridge. The only thing new that I saw was a large footprint on the west bank just south of the Main Ave bridge along the river. hmm

Anyone notice that Litt's article mentioned 600 units of housing?

Doesn't X live in the Buckeye building?

Cleveland: Steelyard Commons
i was at SYC this weekend. I really like two things: the metal square signs that greet you and the rusty steel beams that support the store names. Pretty cool for a big box development.

They built it... ...but they didn't come (Urban retail)
without knowing the context of these residential projects, its really tough to comment on them. I do think that this is applicable to Cleveland..I've always felt that the retail portion of the Avenue would struggle. Just because you have 300+ housing units does not mean that you will have successful retail. The Avenue is on the edge of downtown and there's not much beyond it until you hit St.Clair-Superior.

Nice. I wish my planning school would get a $10million gift.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
ESPN gave the Browns the highest draft grade (b+). I think that two or three other teams also received a B+. Sure hope these picks pan out.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
We've known for about 2 years now that the preliminary utility work was to take about a year. Check back on this thread and you'll find it mentioned a few times.

Cleveland Area TOD Discussion
Because E.118th will be extended into the Triangle area, a mid-block RTA station makes even more sense. You should be able to see new station from Euclid at 118 and into the heart of Case's new dorms. That's really importation. Also, I believe that the new station will have some sort of presence on Mayfield as well.

Cleveland Locations: Have you been to all these?
Wow! Not even to go out to eat? I don't mean to embarrass you. I just find it interesting. You might be the only person posting on this forum who will respond 'No' to these categories. He lives in DC.
