Country. I'm pretty sure it then diverts and travels down Euclid Ave. This is why Euclid Ave is such a good place to locate certain types of tech companies.

^because there isn't the money available for it. Also, you just don't pour tons of money into these things and expect instant success. You have to teach people how to use our downtown spaces. Sounds crazy, but its true. If you slowly build up a successful program, it will be much more cost effective.

Cleveland: Downtown Cleveland Alliance News & Discussion
Nope. The DCA has spent the last year discussing different issues that are important to downtown Cleveland. The landowners split themselves into small committees and just recently made their recommendations to the DCA board. The DCA will select the most important issues and implement the suggested strategies. This could mean anything from a large redesign of public square to parties in the park.

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
They said that construction was not supposed to start until summer. I know that the new pizza place (Teresa's?) is supposed to go in one of the storefronts between May Co. and House of Blues. I assume that is what you say.

Price has to stop with the groundfloor nothingness. Imagine an entire neighborhood with no windows or entrances on the first floor. This would look like a twilight zone episode.

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
Some very good news for lower Euclid and East 4th. I love how this helps diversify the neighborhood: THEATER Bang and Clatter plans to expand into Cleveland Saturday, February 03, 2007 Karen Sandstrom Plain Dealer Reporter The Bang and the Clatter Theatre Company, which started in Akron less than two years ago, will open a second site in Cleveland next year. Construction is expected to begin this summer to convert an old Euclid Avenue storefront east of the former May Company building into a 150-seat theater. The site is owned by MRN Ltd., the company behind the East Fourth Neighborhood redevelopment....

I suppose I can see them selling. The pricing structure at the tower seemed to vary depending on things like the view. Heck, my view in the tower isn't the best...I get to look at the memorial bridge (and see some crazy people!). hey, i'm one of those crazy people who jog across that bridge! It will be interesting to see how much convenience retail that they can get down there with the current housing. If they can get a Constantino's style market down there and some pub, I can could see a lot more people taking a look at this place. Hell, it seems to be doing pretty well as is.
