Why doesn't downtown Cleveland have....
It looks like they are preparing to do the south side of Euclid directly across from the theaters. The bricks are just sitting there. Anyone for an urbanohio day of service??

^what other night? last week, i noticed that it was closed during the day. there are not tell-tale signs that it has closed for good (missing equipment, boxes, etc).

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
That land seems like an odd place to put a medical mart. Its too isolated from downtown's core.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway: Battery Park
I'm pretty sure that this is an active industrial site. At least they were working when I went by it this past summer. I wonder if Marous is doing this project. BP has its most pricey units facing this building. I was wondering how much of a deterrence it would be.

Is this the building with the green corrugated plastic windows?

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
My 400,000 sq ft office building has 1000 employees, so about 2,000. That's actually pretty lavish, spacewise. The standard is anywhere from 1 office worker per 150 sq ft up to about 1 per 400 sq ft. So anywhere up to 5,000-ish, but probably lower. So really 2,000 spaces isn't alot for 5,000 workers, 455 units of residential, and 280,000 sq ft of retail. I'd like to add that my source is second hand. However, that second hand source had put those numbers in print.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Anyone know how many workers would fit into 800,000 sq ft of office space?

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
What are you talking about?? I'd say 5 spaces per unit sounds about right to me. ;)

Cleveland: Flats East Bank

Cleveland: The Park Building
Or, they could do a combo project. With the demand for class A office space and for Public Square residential space, you could build a 40-story building that has both. Hell, let's throw in a boutique hotel as well.

Cleveland: The Park Building
^Howell had mentioned that it would be a great candidate. I agree. You could have windows on three sides of most units. That's a beautiful building.

Cleveland: The Park Building
I've been thinking the same thing for a while. Would there be any zoning issues with that? Once the Park Building sells out, it seems that there would be some nice momentum to continue on down the road.

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
This also seems like a good way for ODOT to defray their construction costs--sell the air rights above the highways.

Cleveland: The Park Building
^Good lord, we need some accurate data. Are people putting down $1,000 reservations on units or are we just getting some trumped up numbers? The PD said that were 5 presales as of last week. If 9 is true, that would be incredible.

CLEVELAND - Park Building Condo Open House!
^is he going to renovate the rest of the building all at once or is he going to renovate them as they sell? Any word on when the building will be finished? (if they renovate all at once)

CLEVELAND - Park Building Condo Open House!
I am so glad that this building is selling so quickly. It should serve as an example to developers that if you provide the right product that people will buy it.

Awesome!

Cleveland: Stonebridge Phase 5
To be fair, I don't think that the first few phases would have been able to support any first floor retail. There wasn't enough density. Going forward, there should be retail on the first floors (and not burried inside a lobby!).
