^OK MGD, we must have just missed each other on a number of occassions today. I was on the old stone bridge around noon. Later on in the early afternoon, I was on East 4th. UO minds think alike.

I didn't know that young people really lived in Rocky River, Westlake, etc. I assumed that they all lived in Cleveland Hts, Ohio City, Tremont, Lakewood, Clifton, and downtown. You're missing out on a large chunk of hipsters if your circles don't include those areas.

Ohio City townhomes update: -the last unit may have a buyer; they should know soon. -the two to-be-built units just to the east of current structure will be built when one is pre-sold. -five or six other townhomes are planned for Vine Court, but those would be built after the the next two townhomes on Clinton are built. Vine Industrials -no presales yet -developer may decide to build if none are pre-sold Franklin Lofts -two of the 18 units have already been reserved

To me, it looks more like some hotel on Miami Beach. Pretty generic.

I was asking about the auto traffic. I lived a block away from Centennial Park and the traffic at rush hour was horrendous. It just seemed to get worse and worse. With Nashville's growth, lack of legitimate mass transit and the inability to widen those roads, I'm curious as to how its changed over the past 5 years. Pedestrian traffic...West End is not the nicest street to stroll down.

Dan, How old are you? When I was 21 or 20 or 19, I loved going to some of those old man bars on Mayfield.

Is it the lack of jobs or the lack of job candidates?? I know that Progressive Insurance has a hard time filling all its open IT jobs.

^how's Nashville traffic these days? When I lived there 5 years ago, it was becoming horrible on West End. That's very true. I remember that Nashville folk used to talk about Hillsboro Village as if it were the mecca of mixed-use districts. And its just one block long!
