CLEVELAND - Holiday get-together December 23rd @ 1pm
Depending on the date, I'd be up for it. But I first have to tend to an army of Tennesseeans, Texans and Wisconsonians that are coming in for the holidays (all are non-expats, so I'll have to be a good tour guide).

CLEVELAND - Light Up!
But they showed stock photos again! (according to MGD's keen eye). I saw some night shots of Cleveland during the 11:00 news and the town looked absolutely fantastic--much better than the stock photos.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Explain please?? I think Tower City is doing "ok". Its not doing GREAT, but its doing just enough to get by. Another ploy by the Rats to get the convention center! Unless your source is more reliable, I've heard that its losing a million per month.

I remember a presentation that was given by one of Davis' partners. He was talking about how much good they were doing. I was shocked when I later heard about this. It really ticked me off.

Happy Halloween! How many trick or treaters did you get?
I got about 75 kids in Ohio City. I think that's pretty good given that we are on the edge that overlooks the lake.

A lot is new at The Q More than $7 million spent to upgrade arena Wednesday, November 01, 2006 Mary Schmitt Boyer Plain Dealer Reporter Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert has what he calls the 360-degree rule in Quicken Loans Arena. "If I was transported here from another country or planet and I did a 360-degree turn, I want to know that I'm in Cleveland and this is the Cleveland Cavaliers' arena and this is the Quicken Loans Arena," Gilbert said. "This is not an office. It's a fun, exciting venue. We need everybody to feel proud and feel they're in the right place and it's our building." In an effort to create that feeling, Gilbert spent $7.45 million on arena improvements, including a new court and lots of new signage on the elevators and throughout the concourses and the Key Bank Court Club. Courtside seating has been reconfigured, and 200 seats have been added. The four swords on the scoreboard will shoot fireworks, and there's a new light shudder system that will allow the arena to instantly go dark or light. More at www.cleveland.com

Initially, they tried to put it in the Triangle plan in UC. That was a concept that failed about 2 or 3 years ago.

^I wouldn't target only the Catholic church. There are many denominations (protestant and catholic) that had lavish residences for the clergy back in the day.

Beautiful homes. Isn't Palmer Woods next to some of the worst ghetto in Detroit? Around 7 Mile, correct?
