Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
As an Ohio City resident, I am very excited about the park. It will have the most dramatic skyline views. It will be a draw for the view at the very least. There really isn't that much useable green space in the neighborhood. This park will give us a place to meet and recreate.

Wonder Bread shoes
I wonder what the wheat bread version would look like.

The towers are definitely coming down and they're going to move the GT3 to the empty space.

Does Ohio have any pre-build infrastructure?
Why would we want to waste more money on sprawl?

Poll: Your political leanings
Fiscally somewhat conservative (but not with educational funding!). Socially liberal. I don't mind paying the taxes, but I don't like when businesses leave because of them.

strict verticality is so tired!
You just get a permanent easement.

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
Well, I know that the Downtown Cleveland Alliance wanted to put some funding into some improved landscaping for Euclid Ave. I don't think that much will come of it. Playhouse Square is covered by the DCA.

Hmm, what else would be a good location for the GT3?

rapid question from a relocater to cleveland
JDD, yeah, a bunch of us actually took a jog in that neighborhood last January. Buckeye Rd has a lot of character with some cool store signs. I'm actually working with some artists on some murals and public art in that area right now. Once you get past 116, things get a bit strange. Its not as bad as some other areas in the city, though. It really drops off past Benedictine HS.

I looked at the location of the home. In my opinion, they should have started closer to Lee Rd and gone out from there.

Coventry also intersects with Shaker Blvd. There is very pretty green line station at that intersection.

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
I'd like to see one go in opposite the bowling alley. The location has large glass windows and visibility on Euclid and 4th. Diners often give off a good energy if they are busy places. Diversity amongst all the big clubs that are being built in the area is important.

Where you went to school, what do you do?
Troy State? Is that the same school that almost beat FSU last weekend?

Yep, you need a diner-style restaurant in the heart of the city. I really don't know of too many casual places where you can grap a quick breakfast in the city.

No, good point. My renovation work usually deals with medieval castles and Mayan temples.

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
^ah, that was it. The abundance of vaults and other utilities made it difficult to plant trees in the area. Hey, how long will it take to finish the vault in front of the Halle Building?? That blue tent has been there all summer long.

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
If I remember correctly, they may be doing some sort of planter in the Theater District. I forget why. I heard that during a meeting on my first day of work, so things are a bit blury.
