Cleveland newbie "dumb" questions
Mansfield is not that far away from Cleveland. Originally, you could only get these mustards at the old Municipal Stadium. I remember finding Stadium Mustard in the gourmet aisle in a Kroger in Tennessee a few years ago.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
It makes sense not to sign a longer deal now if he wants to stay in Cleveland. When his contract expires at the end of the year, we'll have his Byrd rights. He'll be able to sign for a much larger amount than if he had negotiated a 2yr or longer deal right now. With no center signed for next year, I'm sure the Cavs are not giving up on the option to sign Z for 2010-11. With Z and Shaq's contracts coming off the books this summer, we still won't be far enough under the cap to sign a second max player (Bosh) without doing some sort of sign and trade.

Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
It would be nice if the congregation could buy one of the closed catholic churches in the area and relocate there. We have a lot of beautiful and underused/vacant churches in Cleveland. Additionally, that was not the highest and best use of the land on Euclid. I'm sure that the church could get a pretty penny from the Clinic and find a fairly cheap existing church in the City that would suit them. How about St. Peter's on Superior/E.17th?

Shaker Heights, Solon best highschools in Cleveland area for national merit.
The number of girls from the near west side who attend HB and Laurel is increasing.

The Ohio State University Buckeyes Basketball Discussion
I think it would be a big mistake for Turner to stay in school. He's pretty much maxed out his draft value. He's one awkward landing away from losing millions in guaranteed money.

Cleveland - single active woman.. safe to live downtown?
I see a good number of women running over the Bridge into Ohio City after work. I also see some women running in the Flats between 6:30am and 8am during the week days.

Cleveland: Anyone else attend the History of St. Ignatius Church?
St. Ignatius of Antioch is different from St. Ignatius of Loyola. They are both similar in that they provide some incredible architecture for the city of Cleveland.

Loves it! Other than being an Ohioan, I have no attachment to OU. Way to go Bobcats! Loved watching Vandy get upset as well.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
I believe that there is also a tall chain link fence. It is impossible to access Wendy Park from this area. The pedestrian bridge would connect directly to the Lake Link trail--which will connect directly to the Tow Path. see http://buildingcleveland.org/what-we-do/projects/urban-design/lake-link-trail/

Cleveland: Why are there no marinas immediately adjacent to downtown?
I think that there are a number marinas that are close to downtown. You can't really get any closer to downtown unless you plan on taking land away from the Port of Cleveland.

The Estupendo "Little Peru" Thread
Man, I was all excited to read about Peruvian stuff... (I lived there for 2.5 years) I remember one day when a large cargo jet (air canada) showed up at the tiny Tacna airport. It had come to haul away 400 llamas. There is an Ohio guy who sets up a lot of these transfers. Supposedly he is the expert for organizing international transfers of animals. You need to ship an elephant from Germany to Australia, he's your guy. He's from Sandusky and he's a first class jerk.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
What I like about Circle 118 is that it will make the next developments easier to sell. It establishes a beachhead on the eastern end of Euclid. It will make is much easier to develop the area between UARD and 118.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
^I don't think that's bad. The first units were only recently completed and were just entering into the main real estate season. Given the success of the Coltman 27 project, I'm sure that demand will increase once it sells out. Coltman has something like 24 units already sold/reserved.
