Cleveland: The Residences at 668 Euclid Avenue
I wouldn't mind it if this were a starter apartment, but I wouldn't want to live in a windowless bedroom for a long period of time. I'd like to be able to open my bedroom window and get some fresh air. On the otherhand, it might be a nice way to shelter your sleep from any outside noise.

They have taken a huge step back this year. The coach should get canned.

Cleveland - Public tracks (for running) near downtown
I've run on the Ignatius track quite a few times during the morning. As long as the school is not using it, it is open to the public. You do have to enter it from Carroll Ave.

2009 Top 25 Arts Destinations -- Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati in there
Yeah, another dumb poll. Nashville is so over-rated when it comes to the arts. For some reason people think that the presence of the pop-country scene equates to the arts. While there is a decent amount of live music, the pretty much don't have any other arts to speak of. The Grand Ol Opry is unique, but they've moved out to a suburban location next to a mall. The art museum is inside an average-sized home. The theater district is, oh wait, there is no theater district. The symphony is nothing to write home about.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
^I was wondering about that. I wonder if he'd try to reuse the foundation and/or the side or back walls. Seems like you could save some money and still produce a nice looking building. That current building is bland at best.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Looks like there is a potential new-build on tap for W.25th. I heard that the owner of the Bier Markt is trying to put another restaurant across the street next to the West Side Market. He's going to Landmarks this week. His financing isn't in place yet.

Cleveland - Detroit Ave Lofts
I get the crime reports for that area. All the crime occurs between 2 and 3am. I'm pretty sure that it has to do with the clubs in that area. I walk and run by the area all the time, its totally safe otherwise.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I JUST SAW THIS. THANKS! ASSESS WILL ROLL. When the game started and the network went with an aerial shot of downtown before they wen to commercial break, the camera portrayed a Cleveland that was well after the sun had set. In actuality, the sun was just setting and there was a lot of light. I can imagine that all the Clevelanders who where watching the game on TV were thrown for a loop.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
While I don't like the PD's reporting on CC/MM, this situation happens everyday on cleveland.com. Any article that is posted early in the day is buried on the site by the end of the day. It is normal. The same can be said for many of their pro-TC site articles.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Detroit's casinos are very spread out. Gilbert makes a good point in regards to Detroit, but the mall's connectivity is much much better than he makes it out to be. If the maps were drawn to scale, Gilbert would look like a fool.

It's in Hyde Park but you probably went through three or four different neighborhoods without realizing it. You probably got off the Dana Ave. or Smith/Edwards Exit. When you got off did you come into a residential area or commercial? (Don't lie, you saw the PF Chang from i-71 and couldn't resist). You're correct. I couldn't resist their bathroom. So what used to be in this neighborhood before they plopped down a huge power center in it?

Cincy people, I was driving through your city yesterday and had to make a stop. I stopped in a neighborhood, but I don't know its name. I believe that I passed a high school with the name of Withrow. What is this neighborhood called?

We have two young ones and we'll probably add one or two more in the next 4 years.

Xavier University Musketeers Athletics Discussion
Getting out of the A10 would help, but XU will always be a stepping stone. All but 5 or 6 programs around the country will always be a stepping stone. Heck, Izzo was considered a candidate for Kentucky by some sources before Calipari took the job. I don't see XU ever rising to MSU status.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
If anyone proposed this sort of structure for Euclid in 2009, we'd be burning him at the stake.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
how could they pull that off financially and why would they want to do that given their current plans?

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
^Does anyone else think that this building is not that impressive? It looks like an early 90s attempt at replicating a 300 year-old structure.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
So what does this do to MOCA? I can't imagine that fundraising for the new museum is going well. Maybe this transaction will help them? I like that the play house will be downtown. It will benefit the existing businesses and help any expansion.--obviously the current location has not led to any spin-off development. It will also bring more students downtown.
