Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
^you could be correct, but I think it was some other city-owned space.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Over a year ago, I heard that the City had lined up another location for the film companies if the convention center would be rebuilt in the current location.

They have at least 7 screens. They added on a few years ago.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
Would the Cedar Lee survive if it only had three screens? I don't think so.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
I had heard that the parking garage would serve as an expansion platform for the theater. Cleveland Cinemas (the company who will run the theater) feels that a three screen theater will struggle. They'd like to add 2 more screens. They'd put them on top of the parking garage. This info is not directly from the horse's mouth.

Cleveland: Catholic Diocese Church Closings
The parish does not play as central of a role as it used to. People don't go to mass as "religiously" as they used to.

Cleveland: Catholic Diocese Church Closings
I think that the city of lakewood owns some of those buildings already.

Cleveland: Catholic Diocese Church Closings
It will still be very dense. Many of the churches that are closing are within a half-mile of another catholic church. There are a few that are across the street from another catholic church. The immigrant groups all started churches that catered to their own ethnic groups--that's why there were so many in the urban core.

Cleveland: North Coast Harbor Developments
I don't understand your pessimism. The project is funded by a federal earmark, not a commercial bank.

Cuyahoga County: Corruption Probe
So all the inspectors did was expedite the approval process? Did they approve some sort of faulty construction or just speed up the approval process? If they only sped up the process, then maybe this is more of an indictment of the City than of K&D. The City needs to get things done quicker or else it will continue to scare off developers.

Cleveland State University Vikings Athletics Discussion
Nice... Way to go Vikings!!! I can't believe that it has been 23 years since our last tournament appearance. Gary Waters is doing a fantastic job in his first 3 seasons.

Are You Sick Of Defending Your City To Other People?
Exposure to the City as a youth makes a big difference. So many kids grow up not knowing Cleveland that they don't even consider living in the City when they graduate from college. They are trading Westlake for Chicago or NYC. They don't even realize that we've got some nice urbanism going on here as well.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I am so glad that we will be picking up a quality big man. This is our biggest weakness. Additionally, the guy knows the system and plays with a team-first mentality.
