Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
I saw ALOT of BRTs running up and down Euclid today. They were also removing a lot of the E line signs. Will that service stop once the Healthline is fully operational?

Fall = The Best Season... Who agrees?
^but i heard you hate fall in Cleveland ;) Is it me or have the last two falls been the best in recent memory? We've had perfect weather since mid to late August up here. i spent about one year in the Dominican Republic and I detested the weather after a while. I really got sick of the same weather, day after day after day.

This is one of those articles that looks like it is trying to drum up some controversy. In the end, it just seems like a smart move for all involved.

Cleveland: Prospect Place, Joshua Hall, & Mueller Lofts
Neighboring structure news: Not that I've heard that anything is going to happen, but they've been emptying out the old Goodyear tire service center at 14th/Prospect. It has been slow work. I'm assuming that they are just doing it to get the building in shape to show people. They're filling dumpsters with everything and anything. They only have about 3-4 guys working at a time--from what I can see.

I thought Dolan was just an investor. The project lost momentum when Dolan pulled out years ago.

Cleveland: Courthouse Plaza
Interesting. This is just such an odd project. We never ever hear anything about it and then new renderings pop up every once in a while. I agree that this one seems far from reality.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University News & Info
There, fixed that for you :-) MTS, you need to go work for an College or University. Seriously. As an alum of the University-thats-40-miles-to-the-south (akron). I admire the efforts of the current CSU president. When I'm back in Cleveland for convention, I marvel at all of the changes made and forthcoming. CSU is on the cusp on something big. HOWEVER- I just don't think CSU is ready for a football program. There's a lot of competition with other football programs in NEO and of course, the browns. Pitt currently shares Heinz with the Steelers and even though they average over 30,000; it's not really deemed the success they were hoping for. Keep in mind that Pitt is nearly 3 times the size of CSU. I do agree with the name change, though. I don't think that CSU would be gunning for a DI-A program. I think that a DI-AA would be more appropriate.

If CBS had field turf, then I could see this happening.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University News & Info
In theory, these are great ideas. Name change: State universities that place the city's name before "State University" always sound cheap to me. It would sound better, but the name change process needs to be handled well. Football: If CSU could field a competitive D-1AA program, that would be a huge boost for the campus. I'm glad that he says that it must pay for itself. CSU needs to grow agressively and in a financially-responsible way. An intelligent and a passionate president could balance those two things.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
I remember watching him play against my high school back in 1992. He was a man among boys--taller, faster, bigger than anyone else on the field. We were lucky enough to have a freak of our own-- a talented 6'4" db who could somewhat hang with JJ. We beat Lake Catholic that day, but he almost single-handedly pulled out the win.
