I used to think the same way. It was when I started reading and learning about modern architecture that I began to appreciate it. In most ways, historic designs are now cost prohibitive.

Most of them are in bloom now, but they are smaller blooms that aren't showing up in the pictures. Overall I am happy with it, though some of the plant selections seem a little odd, like the prairie grass on the pole planters. The "praire grass" is in a pre-flower stage. I think that the winter themes will provide the most unique experience.

The PD article didn't state where on W.30th the postman was hit. I'd like to know where. The stretch of W.30th in Ohio City is very small (with half of it located on St. Ignatius' campus). PD needs to give us a better indication of where this occurred.

Ouch, I'm losing a bunch of direct flights to places where I would fly. Nashville--in-laws; Memphis--last city of residence/bunch of friends there; Austin--where my wife is from, a lot of her relatives still live there and fly to Cleveland for a "real" Christmas.
