Panhandling/Scamming stories
I don't mind the guy at E.9th and Euclid. I never give him money, but he's pretty nice and adds some color to that corner.

^Jon, thanks for your thoughts and for helping educate us a bit. By the way, my reference was to the city union guys who complained and demanded that they be paid when the property owners hired DCA to clean the sidewalks.

It has been closed for about 3 years. The owner thinks that it should be torn down and has no patience for the city's "historic preservation stance."

CLEVELAND - Soon we'll be making another run...
Wow, that was one of the best sets of photos that I've seen on UO (and the only competition are some of your other photo threads). Additionally, that is the best/funniest commentary that I can remember. Great job!

Have they stopped work on the park next to the old powerhouse? Looks like they had a made a lot of progress, but had stopped in the past two weeks.

FYIW About 4 weeks ago, I saw three men standing on the sidewalk next to Bottoms Up, unrolling architectural drawings, and pointing towards the second floor.

Most of them are in bloom now, but they are smaller blooms that aren't showing up in the pictures. Overall I am happy with it, though some of the plant selections seem a little odd, like the prairie grass on the pole planters. The "praire grass" is in a pre-flower stage. I think that the winter themes will provide the most unique experience.

The PD article didn't state where on W.30th the postman was hit. I'd like to know where. The stretch of W.30th in Ohio City is very small (with half of it located on St. Ignatius' campus). PD needs to give us a better indication of where this occurred.
