Knoxville, Tennessee [Part 2]
Knoxville is decent place. The pictures make it look a bit bigger than it really is. The downtown is probably the best one in Tennessee. Once you get out of downtown, the neighborhoods are pretty boring. The mountains are great.

For that amount, I'd want more windows, a more steely kitchen and some added perks.

What will YOU do with your fiscal stimulus check?
I'm using it to help pay someone to paint my house (with Sherwin Williams paint, of course).

That's why I'm insisting on dropping off my wife, sis in law and mom in law tonight to see Wicked. Facilitating an easy theater experience is important in helping the in-laws understand that downtowns provide more charm than the suburban South. By the way, the in-laws are in town to help us with our newborn baby girl. My wife gave birth last Thursday to the newest Ohio City resident.

Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
I'm with you 100% on this one. I'm less harsh on the Clinic than some on this board. ie I don't think the new heart center is that bad and I like the Crile building. But the Cole Eye Institute is so so bad. What a gigantic waste of space.

Cleveland: Little Italy Neighborhood Discussion
I wondered about the same thing. Counterpoint: the Random Road Lofts sold very well and they are across the street from the rr. When I first moved back to Cleveland, I lived in an apartment in Cleveland Hts that was at the top of the hill. The train noise was very loud and one passes every 20 minutes (and I'm not talking about the rapid). Still, I bet these will sell very well.

X, have you ever driven the area of this site? I'd rather concentrate the live-work lofts on the west side of E.55th. With the highway, rail and future port access, the area north of St. Clair and east of 55th is prime for light industrial uses. I'd much rather concentrate our live-work in areas where we could develop a critical mass and take advanatage of redeveloping some key industrial areas that could provide Hough residents with some decent jobs.

This would be great news if it really comes to fruition. The White Motors site is huge. Cleaning up that area and adding jobs for inner city residents would be a great boost for Cleveland. RPM International eyes White Motors site Tuesday, February 12, 2008 Tom Breckenridge Plain Dealer Reporter A growing, Medina-based company is eyeing the old White Motors site on Cleveland's East Side for a big warehouse and distribution center, a top real estate broker says.
