  1. I wish that we'd be ranked no.2. OSU will continue to take a lot of heat for perceived lack of speed. Sure hope we can silence the critics this year. Go Bucks!
  2. I spent a few hours this afternoon at Gypsy Beans at 65th and Detroit. They were doing a very brisk business. All the tables were occupied about 50% of the time. From what I overheard, it is a place to hang out before catching a show at Cleveland Public Theater. Of course that makes sense to all of us, but I was overhearing that from Twinsburgh and Mantua people. Urbangirl, welcome!
  3. The in-laws head back home on the 27th, so that would work for me.
  4. There is hardly any contamination on the Dike (I've seen the studies). They will build one simple all-purpose track on the island that will go to the western "beak". There might be some other dirt paths. The idea is to keep the entire place like a prairie so that the birds will continue to flock to the place.

You've got to be kidding. I really hope that is a Photoshop. Really. It's almost as bad as the "I Like Cleveland" taxi cabs. I think its hilarious. We all love the Browns helmet. I don't think that other regions understand the love. Are you serious about the Taxi cab thing?? I've always loved the "I like Cleveland". Very original, innocent, and gently honest.
  6. Wow, those organizations are receiving a lot of money. Sure hope that they spend it well. I'd like to see the PD do an article on what they are spending it on. It would be nice to know all the good things that a few more cents on a package of cigarettes can buy a region.
  7. Wow, I never knew that Mu****tello was Ukranian?!

Wow, next time post the entire article. It clearly says soot downwind from active steel mills. Are there active steel mills at SYC? Seems to me, the DNA damage has already been done. There was a day, when you couldn't travel I-77 (or the "Willow Freeway") without passing through a thick cloud of black smoke! There is an active steel mill next to SYC. However, SYC is not downwind from it.

I am using SYC way more than I thought I would. I shop at Target a lot more now than I did when Rocky River was the closest option. I probably use Home Depot just as much (I used to go to the West 117th store). I have not and do not plan on going to Walmart.

I'm confused. Is the link incorrect? I don't see anything about Steelyard Commons in that story.

I like that you put snow all over the lawn. Nice touch. A+
  12. ^Warren Village? I'm guessing that there is better chinese in Cleveland than what you'd find at Warren Village.
  13. Nice shots: Where are you? I believe that you are looking out at the Carter Manor.
  14. The City wants to sell the IX Center back to the owner. They obviously don't think that they will be needing it in the next few decades.
  15. And OSU beat 4 ranked opponents.
  16. Oh c'mon, you are being ridiculous. Of course Ohio State has not had the most difficult schedule, but they are a very good team. Are you forgetting that UC's non-conference schedule has also included three cupcakes?
  17. Nice photos. I really liked Knoxville the first time that I was there. I'm continually less and less impressed with each return visit.
  18. Not true at all. The Cleveland School of the Arts and John Hay are very good schools.
  19. I really don't think that DCA's point was to raise money for the homeless.

I can't remember the last time that I heard about a murder in Central.
  21. J. Dub, did you change your name?

  23. ^when I first heard about the Dollar Bank demo idea, the idea centered around opening up a corridor so that the shops in the arcade would have street frontage. You can try to make sense of that. But...that was coming from Stark. Maybe Stark heard it from K & D. hmm...
