My parents live two blocks from the square and neither they nor their neighbors have a problem with the building.. They love it. All of it. The high end quality of the construction is great and hope it creates a new standard for projects similiar to it around Ohio. I am in Columbus and there is a similar project in Grandview called "The Heights". the website can be found at: http://www.cityspaceresidential.com/theheights.asp . It has had the same height issues and neighbors bitching. Micigan Terrace makes this Columbus project look like a low end construction crap box. Be thanking your lucky stars your getting an attractive, quality structure.

I'm with ya! Seems like UC and OSU are losing the college experience. They are both going to look like Newport on the Levee or Easton Town Center. It's like going to college in a mall, not an urban neighborhood. Time to go to online college. There you can at least have a virtual urban campus. :)

Tell me what you believe would revitalize City Center Mall in Columbus, OH?

I remember them planning this when I was in DAAP from 90-95 (studied urban design). Never thought any of it would happen. Actually, seems like most of the Master Plan is completed (Earth Mounds, this project, Main Street thing, limited surface lots, more garages.) Kind of cool to see it all happen (10 years late). Wonder if they still give out so many damn parking tickets still?
