Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Not quite sure why SW would need to have a green space in or around their building when Public Square is right across the street! And I would almost bet that PS is a lot larger than 2 1/2 acres. There are beautiful buildings all over the world, New York has lots of them, but I don’t think you can build them all in that one space where SW is building! I’m very happy with what we got “stuck with”…lol, as some of you seem to feel about it! Also you have to realize, hopefully SW is not the last building to be built in Cleveland! So there is always the chance something will come along that will satisfy all your tastes in architecture!

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
@sonisharri, thanks for the great photos and just think how this shot would look with another one built on this side of the garage, but add at least ten more floors in height!!

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Finally, discounting the elevator/stairwell shaft, which was already higher, they are working on the 19th(?) floor which “OFFICIALLY” passes the older City Club Building! 👏 Been watching and waiting for this to happen for what seems like forever! But to be fair, this building seems to be moving along at record breaking speed with only 4(?) more floors to go! 🥳

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Just dreaming and you’re going to have to use a lot of your imagination here, lol, but I think they should build an identical building on the other side of the garage with a wide “bridge” at the top, almost as wide as the buildings, connecting the two and create an “urban park in the sky” with grass and trees for the residents of both buildings! Would be a great place to just relax and get a little sun or whatever! Would make for a very unique urban apartment complex! Just sayin’!

I think that what @marty15 is saying is, he feels it will lease out in record time! As is my opinion and I’m sure lots of other people as well! If this great upscale building doesn’t fill up quickly then there’s no hope for Cleveland and the “great city of Cleveland” might as well roll up its side walks!…😂

@GREGinPARMA, I’ve also been watching off and on all day and would say they’re working late to get that particular section of concrete poured. Just a guess!

Here you go :) Wish I could take credit for the great photo, but I got it from the construction cam that @urbanetics_ posted back in February. See link below! 👍 https://app.oxblue.com/open/Clevelandco/City-Club-Apartments

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Hardly ever make comments, but that third picture taken by @MayDay with the “mounted police” is an absolute stunner! I like all photos but a special thanks to MAYDAY for that particular shot! It also makes the SHW building look massive! Can hardly wait till it’s finished! BEAUTIFUL!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I just love SHW for staying in Cleveland and building such a beautiful building! May their company live long and prosper! And many thanks to all you photographers contributing your great photos for us to enjoy! Really interesting to watch!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
If I’m not mistaken, SHW is building another 300 footer later on to go along with the main 600 foot tower.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I’m sure no one else is interested but I would love to see how this building would look from different angles in the skyline with an extra 300 feet added. Anybody up for some photoshop play?

Cincinnati: West End: TQL Stadium
“Cincinnati's shadow government (specifically, Carl Lindner, Jr. and now Carl III) has worked for decades to undermine access to the Kentucky river cities.“ I say good for the Lindners! Nothing wrong with keeping the jobs and money in Cincinnati and Ohio as far as I’m concerned. After all, Cincinnati has lost half its population since the 1950’s and still losing! Can’t understand why you guys would prefer to create jobs in another state while your own city “shrinks”!

Cincinnati: East End / Linwood / California: Development and News
^ I live in Corpus Christ, Tx and my Farmers home insurance does not cover wind or flood even though I'm not in a flood zone. I have to have three seperate policies to fully insure my house and I have to get both wind and flood separately from my regular Farmers home insurance and my flood is thru FEMA.

I like Billy Joel also, but like others have pointed out.....why such a big deal? BILLY JOEL DAY IN CINCINNATI??? Your kidding...right? No offense intended!

Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
I'm not an architect, but it's looking great to me...beautiful building and it has added a lot of "GLASS" to the Cleveland skyline which is much needed! IMHO most cities have lots of "box like" buildings using all kinds of materials to clad them. LOL

Cleveland (2014)
I'm curious as to what day and time these pictures were taken. It appears to be early on a Sunday morning due to the lack of people and cars....not even many cars parked on the streets.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
Thanks for the photos. Beautiful building. It really improves the skyline. Now on to the 800 footer.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
Some of you guys keep knocking QCS as being too fat and not tall enough...in my opinion (not that it means anything) it's just about perfect for it's location in the Cincy skyline and a good looking building. I also think the skyline could easily accommodate an eight hundred footer with out it sticking out like a sore thumb just build it farther north and centered between the Carew and QCS. It along with a couple of other high rise buildings could bring the skyline back to that classic pyramid shape of days gone by! Most cities now days have a "flat top" skyline!

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
The north side web cam has been down since the sixteenth of March and thats why there "appears" to be no progress on the curtain wall.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
Concerning the design of the Tiara on top, got this from Wikapedia.... The building's architect, Gyo Obata, designed the building to include a top inspired by Diana, Princess of Wales's tiara. Gyo was flipping through books when he came upon a picture of Diana wearing a crown. "That's perfect. Here we have the crown of the building, and the nickname for the city is Queen City," said Joe Robertson of Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum remarking to Gyo when he first saw the picture.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Sorry, didn't know it had contemporary building restrictions. But I was talking about the brownstone style in the four story range. They could be built with modern construction methods. I agree, good luck finding artisans that can still do the older construction. And along with the high rise apartments and condos you could create whatever density you want. My understanding is that they have a 25 story height limit in the area.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
Make it a mixed use building such as residential, shopping, etc. Along with the Banks that should bring some of the people back to the downtown area that Cincy has lost since the 50's. By the way, I support the street car but think you guy's should start building on the subway you abandoned years ago. A subway is the best mode of transportation for any good size city.
